i like buying stuff for people too... but not if i have to guess lol. i don't want to waste money on something that may or may not be used.
most of my family give me a card w/ some money in it. which is appreciated... but i don't understand turning around and giving them a card with money in it either...
i guess i'm a bit of a gift scrooge. i really don't care about getting anything, or really giving anything. i wish my family stopped giving me money cause its the same thing every year, "sorry its all i could do"... i don't care... i make more money than any of my relatives, save my uncle... i don't want anyone's money, just a day together drinking and having fun.
i just make sure i buy stuff for my brother and sister... they can't purchase anything for themselves lol, so i like to make sure they're happy. i bought them a wii last year and i've been the best brother ever since lol

mr. serious is serious.
well, i got a reason.
on a honda forum i used to be part of, one of the guys there decided to take **** a little to far. some how, he got my sister cell phone number, my dads cell phone number, my dads email address at work, and my house number.
he photoshopped nudes of my sister and me, and sent them to my dad at work "Look what your son has been doing to his sister." and randomly texting them both with **** like "You should **** your brother" and "You know your son and daughter are ****ing each other, right?" and, he called my house saying "it's great your son is finally getting laid, even though it's with his own sister."
and he actually thought it was a funny joke. and when i told him to knock it off and i threatened his life, all he said was "aww kitty aww, can't take a joke?"
thus why, i'm serious about **** like that

i just had this random memory pop into my head...
soph year of college, i was in my almost stock wrx on stock wheels/tires and was with another buddy with a wrx wagon. it was dumping snow, being in colorado after all. we were driving on a main rd. near school and the drunken fools at one of the frats were camped out on the front lawn pelting cars with snowballs. they hit my buddy's car pretty bad so he pulled over to the side of the road and got out to tell them to go to hell. i pulled over also and had his back.
we both got back in our cars to leave, and he was able to pull out, but i was effing stuck since we had pulled off of the plowed part of the street onto the shoulder where it was deep snow. the same dudes we had just yelled at saw i was stuck and they came over and helped push me out. i was afraid the drunken fools were going to break my spoiler off or dent the crap out of my trunk, but nope, all good. they got me out and i said thanks and took off... they were just out to have fun, the clueless bastards.

I got stuck leaving my buddies driveway. He lives in a townhouse where they contract people out to clear the driveways. I first get a call saying that one of their friends got stuck in their driveway, and need help getting her out. I make my way there (slowly) and she is sitting in her car eating cookies. She gets unstuck, and I pull my car in where she was, no problem. The guy who cleared the driveway, decided to put the pile basically right smack in the middle of the road, where I can get stuck. And I do. I am rocking my truck back and forth, burning rubber, and I finally get out. I'm like what a ****ing idiot for putting that there.

so i had to trash my first batch of pizzelles. Too much anise. I bought anise from a amish market, and its a lot stronger that mccormick flavorings. crap. ah well, it'll keep me busy for a while.
substitute vanilla for the anise. SO much better IMO...mostly because i'm not a big fan of the licorice flavor. Also, ever had chocolate filled pizzelles? they're amazing! My grandmom started making them and my mom and I picked up the wonderfulness. Basically take a hershey's chocolate bar and break it length-wise into rows that will fit the diameter of your pizzelle. then once you take them off of the pizzelle iron/press you put the hershey bar on one end and roll them up. it kind of has to be done quick so they dont harden before you roll them. if we have any downstairs i'll grab a picture of them, not sure if there are any yet though.

If it is a dry shot and you are looking to do about 100 HP jets, you should be safe without needed a tune. Pulling some timing wouldn't hurt, but probally isn't necessary.
Also you can install yourself. It honestly took me about 5 hours to install in my LT1 Camaro. I didn't go for a stealth install but it also wasn't obnoctously noticable.
Only thing I would worry about is if your stock clutch can hold or not. I know my didn't last long :-)
Scapegoat
12-21-2009, 11:43 AM
going with a wet kit and getting an SCT wireless tuner and going through Dann for some custom tunes for it. and i want as stealthy an install as possible.
dyno's of the 100 shot are just under 400whp, so i'll need a 125 shot at least... though the kit i'm looking at comes with a 100 and a 150...

I only know the basics of it as I had a simple 150 dry shot but I did have all the safety stuff too. I think there are kits out there that can spray different 'stages' IE maybe 50-75 for the launch then 150 once you hit 2nd. I think I even read up on progressive prays that slowing incease the shot so you don't break traction.
I would call these guys too. They know their stuff from what I've been told too. http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/
Oakes
12-21-2009, 11:53 AM
Nitrous affects a lot more of the motor than a supercharger will and is a LOT more risky when in use since the motor isn't consistently under nitrous "load" as it would be with a supercharger. It's honestly worlds different in an argument aspect and granted proper installation and tuning, you will still have issues with your warranty if it isn't voided all together. We've had plenty of Nitrous equipped stangs/Cobras/Shelbys come through when I worked for Ford and they were almost all cash customers if you catch my drift.

i don't think you've got to worry about blowing anything up
the HO whipple kit puts out 550 hp, and puts down just under 500 at the wheels on stock everything.
a 125 shot w/ the appropriate safety measures, ie: window and WOT switches, is going to be safe. it should never be spraying close to redline b/c it'll shut off, and it'll shut off between shifts when i lift off the gas to change gears.
the motor can handle it... the design, while it has undergone improvements, has been around for what... 15 years now? its been tested and it'll hold down 400hp no problem. i understand the shock to the system instead of a gradual increase... but, the 550 ho whipple kit produces, i believe 400whp off the line

it never fails, almost every time i use mass transit to get to work i am reminded why i hate it so much. one time it could be a bum, some other time its high school students who insist on screaming instead of talking. then in the summer its urine smell in the walkways to the platform.

i feel so tired and sleepy today. my dad called me at 1am then again at 4:30am to help him to the bathroom. then i walked to the subway and had to be around a really gross bum who was using his spit as skin moisturizer.
it never fails, almost every time i use mass transit to get to work i am reminded why i hate it so much. one time it could be a bum, some other time its high school students who insist on screaming instead of talking. then in the summer its urine smell in the walkways to the platform.
god i feel sorry for myself. i need to stop that.
why are you taking public transportation?

Yeah, I used to horseback ride so I'd be out in the cold a lot and I have a terrible habit of biting my lips when I'm bored/nervous and my lips would literally crack and bleed everytime I opened them.. chapstick and stuff has chemicals in it which actually tend to dry your lips out, so I started putting aloe vera on them and BAM.. magic. It might also help to exfoliate them first

Aloe Vera plants are awesome. They actually help heal many things. For example, when I got a spider bite when I was younger, putting Aloe on the wound is probably what saved me. It extracted a lot of the venom.

Olive oil and sugar is a good natural way to do it. I'm sure there's some kind of product too, but it probably has some kind of harsh chemicals in it.

Wow, this is one hell of a mistake. My dad was getting dental work done, and the lady who deals with the insurance companies and all said our insurance covers 70% or something like that. So my dad agreed to get the work done. Got it done today, and AFTER the procedure the lady said she made a mistake and our insurance doesn't cover this. So that means my dad had to pay $1k+ right there and then. ****ing idiots, of course he isn't letting this slide because he agreed to 70% being covered.

Our insurance company is a pretty well known company, so I hope they don't screw us over.

Dental insurance usually covers previtive care 100%. Everything else is just a percentage. I have spent so much money this past year on getting a root canal on 1 tooth and a crown on a tooth that had a root canal a few years back. It was like $1000 out of pocket.

During the Sherwood meet? We all left to go eat, I was the last in the 'group' and Julz was with me. He flies out of Krazy House Customs and continues to catch up with us. We turn around on route 1, meanwhile he is behind me, and he does the typical ricer fly by. Obviously he acts like a retard on the forum, and does the same thing in real life.

04 sti blue w/ gold bbs's or 03 toyota sequoia ;)
Oh and hai hai peoples. I've been MIA forever due to work but it's finally settled and I can start wasting time in here again. My winter car (3000gt) took another **** (clutch slave cyl this time) and I'm starting to get ancy so I'm thinking about replacing it hence the sequoia or sti question. The STi is nice enough and costs the same money as a sequoia but lacks truck functionality. That and if I get it, I can rub it into marcus's face which is invaluable. Really I'm most pissed off and want to replace it because the situation forced me to drive the m3 in salt for the first time in 200,000 miles.
