yeah you're right, I keep forgetting about that. If you can't tell, I don't use them. lol. I guess they'd still be the least expensive though compared to most private ranges.
Easton Fish and Game is really nice and very reasonably priced at $30 per year after a $30 initiation fee, but still it's only 100 yds. I think that's the case with most anywhere close to this area.
Ontelaunee has out to 300yds they are like 30 bucks a yr. there are a bunch of gun clubs in my area with 100 yd. Guthsville is nice 60 to start 30 there after nice little club. Most clubs around here are pretty easy to join as long as your polite and dont act up. Only ones that are hard to join are the ones with private land to hunt on then you usually need to know a member personally before they even look at you.

I need to find a outdoor range that allows full auto use. New Holland is a very nice range, the president is a asshole tho. other then that its a great range to shoot at.

Well i took DC2.2GSR advice and took the drive down to targetmasters. i have to say he was right that was the best gun shop/gun range i have ever been to. they were super professional. i took down my Ruger P95dc and shot about 100 rounds through that working on getting a better grouping from 7-10 yards along with my grip. i was squeezing the grips and trigger instead of locking my wrists and an easy pull on the trigger. my groupings did get tighter but the sights need to be adjusted a bit. i think next time i plan on taking tools to try to zero it in a little.
While i was there i rented 5 different subs compacts and compacts. First i started out with the Ruger LC9 and the Smith and Wesson M&P 9C. I only shot about 2 mags through the LC9 and i wasnt impressed and didnt like it. Grips felt weird and it wanted to kick really hard. The S&W felt really really good the sights were way off i was shooting center mass and it wasnt even on the outline of the person. i was on the outer edge of the target. i shot again to see if it was just me. Same thing happened. so i held about the same distance away from center on the opposite side and bam center mass one shot after another. felt better then my own ruger right now. I shot about 40 rounds through that gun and liked it the more i shot it. i took those guns back and rented the Springfield XDM-9, Ruger SR9, and the mighty Glock 19. i didnt opt for the 26 because it was just to uncomfortable when i held it side by side with the 19. The Ruger SR9 jammed after every other shot so i only shot about 4 rounds through it. didnt feel right anyway. The Glock shot really really well, but the size is just to big to carry for me. I shot the XDM last and it felt really really good. had a decent cluster at 7-10 yards
So now im stuck in a hard place. I need to decide if i want the XDM or the M&P. i do like that the XDM comes with the range mag, 5 different back straps, and the holster. just need to look at what i find a better deal on first i guess. sorry for writing so much lol

Sadly, you can't gauge reliability using a rental pistol. Even at a nicer place like targetmaster, rest assured that those rentals are rarely or never cleaned and offer a poor example of what ownership would be like.
I have plenty of examples but too lazy to type today.

When I said that FCO's rentals were never cleaned, I should have said that all rentals at all shops are well used and not usually cleaned, but FCO's guns make other shops' rentals look like they're brand new. lol. I should have also mentioned that the few times I've shot rental guns I've always broken them down and quickly wiped and re-oiled them before shooting. It only takes a few seconds to break down the gun, another few to wipe critical areas and then just drip some oil onto the barrel and the contact points on the slide and the gun will be clean enough to be reliable.
My advice would be to go again and this time narrow it down and maybe only shoot the M&P and the XD next to each other. Add one more different gun as another comparison if you want, but really focus on the two that you liked before. If you have concerns about the sights, let them know at the counter and see if they'll drift the rear sight a little for you and get it shooting straight.

I just went with my friend to buy that M&P Shield that I sent you the link to. I have to say that even though I love my 40C, after handling it tonight for quite a while I'm 100% sold on the Shield for carry, especially in the summer with just a t-shirt on. I've been tossing around some ideas for a while now and I think I'm going to pick up the next one I see come up for sale.

big difference in the size between the m&p vs the xd .40? worth making the swap if you already have a xd? havent seen a m&p in person, by spec it just looks lighter..

i was, but im selling it to finally get something that ive wanted for even longer than this one. (but its twice as much money $$$).... MP5sd (see pic below) its a SBR with an internal suppressor (gonna be a lot more than the CA89K, and require a 6 month wait, lots of time and paperwork, and two $200 NFA tax stamps ($400 total to the man). i also had the CA94 keeping me busy (the rifle mp5 version) and never even shoot this one.

im sure it will sell and will be worth it once i get these approved and in my hands, it will make shooting so much more fun.

Considering selling the XDM and picking up an Sig 229 in .40. Thoughts?
I loved mine. It was sort of an impulse buy and I ended up selling it after a few months to buy something else. If I remember correctly I think you actually shot that one at Classic Pistol. It was a great gun but I just had no real reason to own it so I got rid of it. I would actually be sort of interested in finding one again, I really liked shooting it.

I liked my P229 but it just sat in the safe the entire time. Too heavy/bulky to carry compared to my other guns and too nice/expensive to EDC because I was always worried about smacking it into things. Shot great though but I sold it for more ammo & another Kimber UCII. :D

Well I use my Kimber UCII as an EDC and it is comparable in cost/aesthetics to the 229. Took me a while to get used to banging it up, but eventually I got over it.
Still haven't decided whether I want to use it as a daily carry, mostly because it is a larger gun.
Anybody have a line on a cheap one?
*edit- also, what should go with another .40 or bump down to 9mm?

Kimbers are cheap...on the grand scheme of 1911's Im sure you'll get your money out of it, or already have.

I would go with a .40 if you're carrying it but a 9mm if it's mostly for the range.
I've been gravitating toward 9mm lately because of cost. I was actually talking to a guy last week about buying a W. German P226 in 9mm but he has backed off a little, I think he wants to keep it. I'd like to find an older west german non-railed P226 or P229 in 9mm that I can throw some Elite parts into and refinish and make a nice range gun out of. I'd also get the .22LR conversion just so that I could shoot a lot more.

Well my spending power is limited since I'm a college student, so for the money, I feel that a Kimber is a very nice gun to have as an EDC.
Mike, I was thinking the same thing about the .40 vs the 9mm. Ultimatlely, I would like to have the Elite version, but as of now, I don't want to spend that much money on a handgun. And if I was going to spend that much, I would put it towards an AR.
As much as I like the Sig, I will probably hold off on it for a while. I like the UCII for an EDC and I don't see myself putting it back in the safe for the Sig.
I do want a 9mm though, mostly because it is a lot cheaper to shoot. I guess I'm back to looking at the P30. Been drooling over it for years now, maybe it's time I finally get one.

exactly! but i do plan on eventually saving up and getting a registered sear to make it full auto (they usually come with the trigger pack), that way it can be swapped to different hosts.
its a 3 position 3 trigger pack with the FA filed down (i dont even think it will allow to switch, but even if it does it will be semi). but

DJ Getz Firearms (out of Slatington, PA). He has great reviews from people all over the country (i will be writing one up soon). he does great work, heres the details of one of the ones that i have on order, which will be filed for SBR the day I pick it up.

Everyone I see posting them are 15k to 18k for a sear. I believe registered dlo packs are selling for 17500. I bought my sear in a Hk51 about 3 years ago for 12k(gun included), which was a very good deal. I found a older s&h mp5 with a registered sear for 15k a little bit over a year ago for my brother.

It would just been a range shooter so it doesn't need to withstand the end of times or super long battery life just somthing half decent that takes basic movements. Am i looking too into this? just get somthing cheap should work
Primary Arms Micro Dot is the only "knock off" inexpensive sight that I'd put on any rifle. Some say the Bushnell TRS-25 is pretty damn close, but I hear the PA Micro is better. I'm sure either would work fine for a range toy.

Even with a fitted t-shirt, you still won't be able to see anything. Most of my shirts are tighter and even when I was carrying the full size XDm, it still disappeared for the most part with that holster.

If anyone is interested in a Glock 22,I'm selling mine to buy a other gun. 450 with less than 1000 rds through it. Near mint condition. Will throw in some 40 ammo for the right deal.

I already took a Dremel to it and undercut and smoothed the trigger guard. The Pro Series already has an upgraded trigger parts so the sear and trigger bar only needed a bit of polishing to finish it off and it feels a lot nicer. I'm holding off on stippling it until I decide on a pattern. I really likes my 40C, but I think I'll do something different this time.

after looking at EOtech's, aimpoints and TA33 ACOG's I walked away with an H-1 for pure simplicity.
GO with the PA mentioned red dot if you must go budget. I blew $600 on a tiny optic, and I am glad I made the plunge. I also cannot BELIEVE I spent $600 on a red dot optic. It's TITS tho. like, absolutely tits.

haha yeah yeah. Believe me, the only reason is cost of ammo. .40S&W is just too expensive to kill paper with, and 45 is even worse. I do like the gun a lot though. I've been pretty busy so I hope I can make some time to hit the range in the next few days.

paused last minute..stuck between shield and xds. ive read a ton of opinions, got to really play with the xds but only got to hold the shield for a moment.
my only hang up on the shield honestly is the thumb safety. i like the feature of sprinfield grip safety n no thumb safety.
i also would rather stay at a smaller cal so its easier to get back on track after first shot if need be. and with the xds its only a 5+1 (unless extended grip which isnt for me)
shield would also be cheaper to put rounds through than a .45 thats for sure.
ive read alot of feedback etc, personally talked to someone who has both and loves each..reaching out here to see if anyone has anything they can add for me..

As much as I hate thumb safeties, it's really no big deal on the Shield. I've had a pretty solid amount of time messing around with my friend's new Shield and that was my number one concern. It's so small and partially recessed into the frame that it makes it difficult to engage accidentally. Add in the fact that it's somewhat tough to engage anyway just by the design of the thing and it really makes it almost a non-issue. I would just leave the safety off and holster like that. I'd also just check it by feel periodically when carrying just to make sure it's still off. With a good holster though you shouldn't get very much unintended movement and it will probably never engage if you don't want it to.

Thumb safeties are the only kind I can deal with. On the 1911, with enough drawing practice you can disengage while bringing the gun from a holster in a draw movement.. Becomes second nature actually

Thumb safeties are great on 1911s where they're actually a very important part of the gun's design, but that's the only place they belong in my opinion. It's completely unnecessary on a striker or DA gun, especially on a carry gun. It's just one more thing to worry about under pressure. Having a safety to worry about on a 1911 is fine because it must be there, but on other styles of guns it's just useless.
Just yesterday I had a conversation with some idiot at a friend's house who was mexican carrying a Ruger SR9 without a holster, just the safety on. When I mentioned (delicately) that he was an absolute f**king moron for doing so, he instantly brought out my most hated one liner - "nah man, it's fine, the safety's on." It's a crutch, nothing else.

do ANY 1/9 twist 5.56/.223 barrel and use the CMMG .22lr kit. mine likes to retain the same zero @ 25M as my rifle rounds do = training plus. ALSO you can easily get a .22lr supressor for 1/2-28 and to that route as well for FULL Zombie readiness.
I have shot my CMMG kit on my 10.5'', 16'' middy and my 20" with NO issues. like none. Mines just the regular kit, not the fancy evo kits with bolt hold open and assist options. Get the SS ones! easier to clean.
1/9" can handle like 40-62grn. I always use 55, unless its Xtac and thats 62.

So I took the new M&P9 Pro to the range for the first time tonight. First shot ever - dead center through the X at 7 yards  With the following 17 shots I blew out the entire 10 ring, every hole touching the last. I can't believe how nice that gun is to shoot. The trigger, the full size grip instead of my old compact, just everything. I'm very happy with it. The 124 grain Speer Gold Dot +P that I got to carry feels pretty close to .40S&W recoil-wise but the 115 grain target stuff is sooooo soft, I love it. I was afraid that I'd miss my 40C but not at all. I can't wait to shoot again. I'll be buying a full case of 9mm ASAP so I can really hammer this thing :supz:
And for your entertainment, here's a crappy iPhone video of my friend shooting his new Century C39 tonight at Clayton's. Keep in mind that the fire ball is that large with a flash hider. It's not exactly an "indoor friendly" gun. lol.
Now I'm pissed at myself for getting rid of my Draco.

My plan was to SBR my Draco with a side or underfolder but I obviously didn't get around to it. I had the check written, fingerprints done, signature on paper, everything. I bought mine for $350 off the shelf at a local shop and sold it a few months later for $600. Now you really can't touch one for under $600. I only sold mine because I needed money and I figured I'd sell because I was almost doubling my investment. Ultimately that's what I really want to do AK-wise. I really don't like full size anything but certainly not AKs.
That C39 he's shooting is basically just a higher end milled receiver version of the Draco. It's incredible how nice that thing is for an AK, absolutely nothing like the pure junk that Dracos are. It's actually a very solid gun, much more worth it to SBR that rather than a sh*tty Draco. lol

The underfolders definitely aren't very nice to shoot a lot, it would be more of a "because it's cool" gun with an underfolder on it. To be honest, I would have gone (and still might go) with a Draco SBR'd using an Ace side folder mechanism and an AR stock, the full Ace side folding stock itself, or maybe even a VZ58 folder.
The general idea behind "I don't like full size anything" is just that, I really don't like anything about 16" and over barrels on rifles unless they're precision guns. I can't stand the look of standard ARs, AKs, or anything else you could build or buy. For me it's either an SBR or it's ugly and awkward. lol.

im not saying im one of these conspiracy theory guys or even believe this is gonna happen....
But if it were that would just be the foot in the door. the bigger fear would be Martial Law and The U.N. Small Arms Treaty (together or separate).
"IF" that was to happen.....
and our troops wouldn't do it or needed help, it would be the UN coming in and anyone else they choose to bring in with them, they would take ALL the guns. Shoot to kill upon any verbal or physical resistance. the problem is it wont just be guns they will be taking, they'll strip us of all our rights, and be able to do anything to us they want or make us do anything for them. they'd even have FEMA camps (concentration camps) set up here and full control over the people in every way. Our country would no longer be free and controlled by the people or even by our government. Our constitutional rights null and void and democracy would cease to exist.... our country would never be the same again.

None of that will happen because it would essentially be voiding the 2nd Amendment, which simply can't happen.

i just read this posted from the NRA.....
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/nov/28/thwarting-global-gun-grabbers/
i dont think its gonna happen with 80 million gun owners here and so many people not willing to lose our constitution and amendments & rights easily, but i think they might try. technically they have tried, there was just never a US president on board. all he need is to do is have the opportunity to replace one person on the supreme court and it our country will no longer have the gun vote. its never been this close, and Obama has put 2 horrible women in there that are huge anti gun, the votes have been 5-4 in pro gun favor. people are chosen in by the president and don't ever leave either. if one needs to be replaced in the next 4 years it wont be good.

I love how paranoid gun owners get when there's even a hint of gun control being whispered.
You know whats going to happen? ****all. Nothing. Nada. Guns as a source of violence doesn't have causal effect from their outright existence, its a social issue with scope varying depending on geographic location/social status... and the president knows that. Thats why **** ain't gonna change for people that aren't felons and own their guns legally. Unless your getting upset that you can't buy that full auto weapon you "need"... then that's your problem. I'll stick with my 1911, all I need.

No.
First of all, there is no "registration" of any guns in PA whatsoever. The PA State Police keep a record of new gun sales, but not a registration. According to the PA Uniform Firearms Act it's actually illegal to keep a registry of firearms:
§ 6111.4. Registration of firearms.
Notwithstanding any section of this chapter to the contrary, nothing in this chapter shall be construed to allow any government or law enforcement agency or any agent thereof to create, maintain or operate any registry of firearm ownership within this Commonwealth. For the purposes of this section only, the term "firearm" shall include any weapon that is designed to or may readily be converted to expel any projectile by the action of an explosive or the frame or receiver of any such weapon.
(June 13, 1995, 1st Sp.Sess., P.L.1024, No.17, eff. 120 days)
Somehow the PA Supreme court ruled that the State Police database was legal, which is pretty messed up. Supposedly, it's legal because it's based off of new gun sales data only and is incomplete. Anti-gun groups talk about "loopholes" allowing criminals to get guns... hah, well there's a nice loophole that the Govt. uses to get around the law themselves. Surprising, right?
As for transferring ownership of firearms - handguns must be transferred through an FFL (gun shop), but even then it's not registered to any specific individual. Rifles and shotguns may be bought and sold and transferred between individuals without any paperwork or third party involvement at all. When you buy new rifles or shotguns though there are papers to fill out and a PICS background check.
Hopefully that helps.

Short barrel rifle (SBR) fall under NFA (nations firearms act) controlled by the ATF. and yes they require a $200 tax stamp, about 6 month wait, and if its not under a trust you need passport style photos, finger prints, and a sign off by yiur CLEO. Machine guns (Full auto) and Suppressors fall under NFA as well

Yes, you can turn a AR, AK, HK....ect pistol by adding a stock or rifle by cutting or replacing the barrel into a SBR. They will all require the full NFA process and stamp. See details below.....
Short-barreled rifle (SBR) is a legal designation in the United States, referring to a shoulder-fired, rifled firearm with a barrel length of less than 16 inches (40.6 cm) or overall length of less than 26 inches (66.0 cm). In the United States, an SBR is an item regulated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) as an NFA firearm. In the absence of local laws prohibiting ownership, American civilians may own an SBR provided it is registered with the BATFE, and a $200 tax is paid prior to taking possession of or creating the firearm.

By definition, SBRs and SBSs are firearms, which require transfer (albeit a different kind of transfer). Shotguns and rifles are not firearms.

i still cant see why people dont like .40....it holds more in the mag, has very similar performance to the .45 and it isn't that expensive. 13+1 vs 7+1....i dunno just seems like a no-brainer.
I bought a G17 Gen4 and sold it a week later. I was like " i have this full size gun that shoots little ass bullets.....this is stupid". That's how bad I dislike 9mm lol. I wan't a 19 or a 9mm barrel for my 23.....but purely for target plinking ammo. I just don't know about 9mm.

9mm is great because of capacity, low recoil and still has good ballistics. I personally don't like .40 because of how snappy it is and how close to .45...

IF the G21's weren't so damn brickish I'd have one of them instead. I'll weigh my options on what I will do. I've had the G23 since about 2009.

I originally bought a Glock 21 to carry for work. I was told I was unable to carry .45 for various reasons. I had a Glock 19 and traded it for a g27, as I wanted something to deep conceal. So I bought a Glock 22 to go with the 27.
I realize I should have kept the 19 as I just like it better. I had a few offers to trade the 22 for a 23 but haven't jumped on the offers yet. I think my asking price is pretty fair.
Asking 450 for a nearly mint Glock 22, gen 4 with night sights and 3 mags. I'll also throw around 100 rounds in too. 50 Winchester ranger t series and around 50 target rounds.

Yeah I did. plenty of ARs and Kimbers, depends on your budget and what exactly you want. Not many bargains from what I saw. It seems like gun shows have left the word bargain far behind and become nothing more than MSRP or above. Anything you look at is right at or above MSRP even when used. I'm sure you could find a seller who would be willing to cut you a break on their tag price, but that would probably only bring it back down to the same price that you can get it for anywhere at any time.

Of course they won't report that.. just like with that 70 year old guy in Florida who shot two armed would-be robbers in the internet cafe back in July. A law abiding gun owner using his firearm doesn't generate ratings. God forbid the media be fair and balanced when talking about guns..

Yes. There's always good sense in investing in firearms. Be careful about how you spend your money and what exact rifles and parts you invest in and you could see some profit. At worst you have some awesome gear and you can always sell off what you don't want or need, whether a ban goes through or not.

I don't think you need to do it like tomorrow Alex, If something happens its not going to be for a year+ they can't suspend the 2a overnight. Having a problem with the Kimber..
The other day I noticed some rust on the barrel but I'm not sure where it came from. It's been a few months since I've shot it and immediately after the last time, I completely cleaned it and properly greased the barrel. Since then, it's only been in and out of my holster and hasn't come into contact with any liquids. I tried to clean it up at little bit with a polishing rag before I took the pic, but the rust is obviously still there
Any thoughts?
*edit- forgot to post the pic haha

Could be from sweat or moisture in the air/on your body.
I'd try some metal polish first and see if that helps. If not some hi grit sandpaper may be in order, 2000 grip maybe.

They don't want them shot, they want them stoned to death... You know, since rocks can't be turned into a deadly weapon. Wayne lapierre's response was great in my opinion.. He is being demonized and I pant participating in the banter from what I've seen... Even the strong dem antis at my work were saying " 'they' don't really think banning rifles will stop this do 'they' " and the best one, "I thought assault rifles were what the military used that fire non stop when you pull the trigger" I lol'd and dropped some knowledge. It is driving me crazy how many times I've heard clip and machine gun on the news recently though.

Worst case nothing happens and I have extra mags haha. If you're getting an ar because you're worried you won't be able to in the future just worry about the receiver, ATM that's the only part that has to go through An FFL. The last time evil black gunlegislation passed, anyone with a complete rifle purchase, or a lower receiver , before the effective ban date was grandfathered in.

That's exactly what I am counting on... I probably won't be able to build it completely for a while, but at least I'll have the lower and that's the part that counts for the ban.
Now I have another question- go with an AR rifle or pistol? I don't even know what the difference is.

Looks like if I decide to build it as an AR pistol first, I'd have to go through the tax stamp process and register it as an SBR. I think I'll pass on that... I don't really want to go below a 16" barrel anyway.

Ar pistol is just that... A pistol, it becomes an sbr when you add a stock, that's when you need a stamp Just get a receiver or two, decide how you want to build it later, an ar pistol and rifle use the same receiver. (Ar pistols suck for everything but having a cool factor though)
Edit
Just read that link, what it's saying is its easier to make a receiver without a stock when new into either a pistol or rifle, whereas a receiver with a stock would have to be a rifle or sbr with a stamp,
a stripped receiver won't have a stock so that would be a non issue if you go that route.
~Brian~

I'm thinking I might just make it a rifle from the beginning and keep it simple. I'm a graduating college student, so I def don't have the cash for the "cool factor" right now lol
Next question- I plan on replacing the stock regardless with one of these (http://store.magpul.com/prod_detail_list/83)...
Should I just buy a stripped receiver and build this gun from scratch or buy a full receiver then have the stock "stock" for a spare?

the spikes lowers are priced right and are great. Stripped ones are 115 and they sell blemished ones cheaper.
P-mags are great, but any mag with a decent body and the proper follower/spring will run just fine. The us army just stopped using p-mags for duty use. That being said i have a few p mags and a few metal mags, they all run.

Let me put it this way (just my feelings). If the ban of these assault rifles and high capacity magazines means we never have a tragedy like the one in CT again, I'd be all for it. Except it doesn't. Just look at Columbine, which happened in the middle of the last assault weapons ban.
As far as Dicks, had it been my business, I probably would have done the same and temp pulled the guns, just out of compassion for what happened. People who are so for these bans should look at the prohibition of Alcohol, Marijuana, and just about anything else that's ever been illegalized and the black market it created and how many more lives were lost.

What the media fails to say is during the assault weapon ban from 93-03 you could still make "assault weapons" they just couldn't have "deadly features", like a threaded barrel, folding/collapsible stocks, bayonet lug. No new high cap mags made during that time as well. The way the media is reporting it as like you couldn't buy them during that time or make them. Not only that the ban did nothing. At this point its not even about guns, this kid was mental which you would have to be to kill your own mother and all those kids. He would of done it no matter what. If you let the government tell you what kind of guns your aloud to own, whats next? no one is aloud to own a vehicle with more then 200hp because why should one person be aloud to go faster then the next person.

heres my view, copied from a conversation i had with another member via PM.. you guys may not agree with me at all but this is my take:
The goal here must be regulation of who can access guns. Everyone can agree that guns are getting into the hands of people who shouldn't have access to them, and that is what we need to focus on and tighten up. i think we need to figure out how to make sure the MENTALLY ILL ARE NOT BUYING THESE GUNS AND WHEN THEY TRY THAT SOMEBODY DOES SOMETHING ABOUT IT.... the lawmakers are so focused on the "GUN" they create a system that doesn’t work "AHA! A crazy boy tried to buy a gun. He was stopped from buying it! Problem solved!" As if that sentence shouldn't send CHILLS UP THEIR SPINES AND MOTIVATE THEM TO FIND OUT WHAT HES REALLY UP TO!?!? in my opinion THAT DENIAL WARRANTS A VISIT FROM LAW ENFORCEMENT!!!! "Hey... Lady... Somebody from your house just tried to buy a gun and they were denied, because of X." not just turning the kid away... That to me is a wise course of action, . in the cases of Columbine, Viginia Tech, Aurora, and Sandy hook, each killer was considered "dangerous" by those close to them in the months before the incidents.
I say Arm those who are responsible enough to be armed, give them to as many people like me as possible, people who have the intellectual capacity to make a quick judgment the right way should the need arise... we MUST switch the focus from a blanket gun ban to a focus on taking them away from people like the Sandy shooter.
criminals and the crazy will be crazy, they will both continue to be those two things regardless of laws and legislation.

so I found an M&P 15 lower and after I paid, we ran the pics check... Took forever to get them to answer the phone then after another 15 minutes, it came back as pending but not yet approved.
The guy at the store said that it will take up to 15 days for them to finish the rest of it. He said they might not be able to find something, but I'm not sure what that meant. I'm concerned here.. the worse thing I've ever gotten was a speeding ticket.. I've successfully cleared 3 separate background checks before and nothing has happened since then, so I don't know why there would be an issue now..

This has happened to two of my friends, both went pending both were first time buyers. one of them got the ok after a few days. The other did the full pending time, which then he had to send a letter to the state in which they returned another letter saying yes he was able to buy a gun.
