Alright guys, so this has already taken up half of my morning at work. You know when you have a song stuck in your head, and then you completely forget how it goes????? AAARRRGGGG!!!!

I meant to ask my co-workers who it was, but i completely blanked on how it goes.

I've heard it a lot in bars, seems to be a popular tune that drunk girls dance to. Its a hip-hop/dance type song, with a funky breakdown... i think its a chick singing, with maybe a guy doing a verse or two...

I listened to it on the radio in my car and the bass sounded pretty cool.

Unfortunately, thats all i have to go on. ANyone help me out and think of any cool/good songs that fit this description? I think it might be Rihanna, but thats a long shot.

omg this is FREAKING killing me... haha. i'm about to waste an entire work day on this.

i'm sure either one of those would be funny if I had audio on my computer at work..... but since not.... FAIL. (also, its really sad that garbage like that makes it on Youtube)

Did you hear it on the radio?? If you did, chances are you'll hear it again before lunch on the same station. lol

you guys have NO idea how much this is driving me crazy! i know i know... 1 lyric would help. I last heard teh song last week on the radio... its slowly been sizzling out of my memory since then.

once our internet in the conference room is back up i'm going to go youtube hunting...

unfortunately, our shop guys listen to NPR and WXPN and IPOD tunes during the day....not THe Beat or Power99...

or fortunately, depending on how u look at it.

the lyric i remember to help trigger the course of events that led to it: "Don't stop get it, get it...." then my manager chimed in with the "mirror, mirror on the wall, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah....."

jesus, feels SO good. Only took my fried-brain 6 hours to get it... :D

haha, my manager was telling us how her 3 year old jams to that song!!! haha. yeah, i don't listen to the radio and pretty much despise modern music in general.

lol, i'm sure my 8 year old daughter knows it to...

I guess i heard that song over time in various drunken bar scenes, it must have gotten stuck in my head.

yeah, hah, i had no idea. I googled "top dance songs" and she was up there a few times...

i thought it had a girls voice in it... i was obviously wrong.

I listen to Zeppelin, Sublime, the Dead, Tribe called quest, Wutang, NAs, Beastie Boys, Bob Dylan, Marley, Rage, Nirvana, Clapton, the Roots, outkast, 311..... not into the newer stuff (eg. post 1999-my senior year of hi school)
