So i'm sitting at work going about my usual day. Designing some ish, talking on aim and replying to some text messages. Well i get this random call and voicemail from a nut saying I just called them. I have not made or received a call all day. They call back threatening me about calling the cops and some dude called them. I stated to him I'm at work and have made no calls. They say my name and phone number (which he asked me for and I wouldn't tell him my name). He says the dude left a nasty message on the answering machine blah blah whatever. I say call the cops i don't care...you've been spoofed (dude is old so he didn't get it). I'm like someone called you and blocked their number with a code and input mine. Dude says I'm crazy and of course i hang up. I then get a call from the cops. I'm like look I have not made a call all day i'm at work and IDK who these people are. He then states this is the nth today this happened to these people and called to apologized.

Has this happened to anyone else? I'm pretty freaked about it.

That hasn't happened to me but I have got weird numbers on my caller id.

and I got one on the house line that was 1-000-000-0000

You got spoofed too. They basically call you from their line, block their number and use yours. I heard telemarketing companies use this to. Freaking retarted.

Iphone users heaven. Program called SpoofApp lets you do this **** and also disguise your voice. Oh and you can do it over their website.
