We’ve always relied on the Meebo community to help us when we’ve needed guidance or assistance, be it questions about products, functionality, or even bugs. You’re a tremendous resource for us and we’re really grateful for that! Thank you.

Today, I come asking you yet again for help, but also with an offer to make you $5,000. As Meebo has grown and evolved, so have our hiring needs. In fact, we currently have numerous open positions, all of which can be found at: www.meebo.com/jobs/openings/

But starting today, we wanted to recruit you to help us to recruit others. Below you will find a list of our "Top Ten Jobs" list that we need to hire ASAP. For the next three weeks (ending June 2nd), Meebo is offering a $5,000 referral reward to anyone who refers a candidate to one of these "Top Ten Jobs" and that candidate gets hired. And feel free to refer yourself as self-referrals qualify for the referral reward too!

The "Top Ten Jobs" list includes the following positions:


Engineering:

Javascript Engineer - Outstanding Javascript skills combined with DHTML, CGI, CSS, and scripting languages.

Python Web Developer - Strong expertise in Python. Knowledge of Django, PIG a plus.

Product Manager - Consumer Web, Mobile, or Analytics background and Technical Degree.

Data Engineer, Analytics - Skilled in Data Mining, Information Analytics, MapReduce, Hadoop, PIG and related technologies.

Server Engineer - Deep knowledge and experience in C/C++ development of large scale web-based systems


Business:

Account Executive, New York (3+ years direct sales experience in media/digital advertising, must be based locally in New York metro area)

Regional Sales Director, Southeast (5+ years direct sales experience in media/digital advertising, team management experience, based in Dallas or Atlanta)

Account Executive, Southeast (3+ years direct sales experience in media/digital advertising, based in Dallas or Atlanta)

Director of Business Development (5+ years experience in Tier 1 and 2 partnership/alliance development in the Social Networking space, based in Mountain View or New York)

Rich Media Creative Manager (5+ years experience in digital media design, manage designers & projects, interactive visual design, Creative Suite & Flash pro, based in Mountain View)



A few things to note about this program:

When referring someone, please send his or her name and contact information (email) to the following alias: meebostars@meebo-inc.com. If the person is already in our database, they will not be eligible for the referral program.

If you heard about this program from a Meebo employee, please also mention that person's name. If your referral gets hired, we've also got a nice gift for the employee whose network produced the referral.

For your referral, you’ll be paid following the employee's 60th day of employment with us. Note that this income may be taxable to you.
