Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

sramz Noob-Jersey Join Date: May 2010 Location: Near University of DE, but in PA Member #16475 My Ride: 2005 KIA Spec 5 iTrader: (0)	Seeking local performance shop in DE Driving an 05 KIA Spec 5 with an Alpine turbo that needs to either be fixed, or come off and go back stock NA. BUT, I need a local shop to do the work. Have been turned down by two dealers and three local garages. Is there a 'directory' that exists to find a mechanic local to me? Live close to University of DE. Willing to drive about 50 miles for a mechanic who will work on a KIA. Yes, I know there is some snickering out there, but as an owner of two Subaru's and a Honda, frankly, I couldn't resist the $15K price tag.
