The plate definitely makes it funny/correlates to the damage. Sorry to hear Jack! Looks like the rear quarter panels held up which is a good thing, giving the Evo's 2 star crash rating all around.

You're better off than I am. My Mustang got rear ended while parked in my parking lot. The driver apparently took off and I found the damage afterward. I have to pay for almost all of it.
Just for reference, the insurance guy quoted the work on my car at $2200+. Very similar damage. Good luck, dude.
