honda valve adjustment

Anyone in the levittown area know how to adjust the valves for my H22 ??? They are getting worse now. I have no idea how to adjust them but I would really like to learn. So if you have the gauges or a home made tool to do them with, let me know. Apparently it only takes like an hour.

Make sure you do it when your motor is cold. I don't have time to type up everything but it is not hard to do. Just need to valve adjustment tool.

i did it with a buddy of mine a few weeks back. Its really a no brainer. All you need is a feeler guage, a 10mm deep socket, vice grips and a flat head screwdriver. Its really easy. I cant find the page but if you pm me your email i can send you a write up i saved a while back that have every step and pictures.

Edit: nvm, search a little more and found a page

http://www.preludepower.com/forums/s...d.php?t=264672

not the one i used but it seems just as good

You don't need it but it makes life easier. If I lived closer to Levittown I would give you a hand. Its not too difficult, just don't mess up the valve cover seal when removing the valve cover.

Yea... Im pretty confident i did it right. Wasn't really that hard. Just time consuming if you don't have the right tool. I guess the noise im hearing is rod knock rather than a loose rocker.
