So I start my S2000 up this morning and the check engine light is flashing. This is never good. Just incase I need a new engine I was just playing with the idea of a FD engine in the S2000. What do you all think?

You think you may need a new engine bc your check engine light is on? And as far as swaping a rotary into an s2000... Its possible.... but why? More money/time than its worth. But you already seem to have 2 very expensive cars for your age so I guess if you have the extra 15k for the swap let me know how it goes.

Well I don't think, it might be as small as a misgap in the spark plugs but I'm just thinking worse case scenerio

From what I understand single turbo>twin turbo. I say sell the S2K and get an actual FD. Or, as 95nracer said, do it with a 20B. My $.02

Your check engine light is probably on because you didn't screw on your gas cap tight enough lol..... Its the number 1 reason people come to our shop for engine lights. As for making your car look like keisuke'... the body is all from RE Amemiya. But in all reality you should really come down from the cloud your living on and enjoy the 2 beautiful cars you already own. Most people on this forum would kill to have 1 of them.

That would be a solid CEL, mine is flashing which can only be caused by MAJOR misfiring
