I'm running ewg on my gti, but the lower nipple port that i need to use hits the turbo keeping it from mounting on my manifold. is there any way to rotate the "housing" we'll call it, of the wastegate to re-position the nipple spot?

That? I imagine it just twists around. Take the cover off and take the spring out, you will be able to see how it works once you've done that. I cant imagine it would be stuck in one place.

yep thats the one. i just bought a rotation flange so that should fix it.

I'm pretty sure you can loosen the bolt that runs though it and just turn the port.

probably. havent tried yet and i already ordered that flange. i'll take a look at it when i pull it back off the car

well, unless i am doing something wrong, that bottom piece WILL NOT MOVE, **** i tried everything and cant get it to budge. oh and the flange i bought to twist the wastegate; wont work because part of it hits the turbo so it wont mount up. awesome.
