So after thinking I was going to be without a decent job and selling the Corvette, I managed to get the job I was waiting on (the day I received the money for the corvette actually - story of my life)... So since the Vette was sold, I sold the Acura and then flew to TN to pick this up...

Specs...
2003.5 BMW M3 coupe
SMG transmission
All options besides Nav
Silver Gray Exterior
Dove/Black interior
44k miles on the clock at time of purchase

PLANS FOR THE CAR AS OF 9/14/10...

So my M3 is my DD and after a good bit of research I believe I've settled on the following modifications. The car will be used about 4-8 times a year from HPDE/open track and might drag race like... once haha. Otherwise ti'll be a street car.

Engine...
-Already have an AFE elbow
-EVOSport Power Pulleys (bought)
-Software Custom tuned by Bren-Tuning out of MA
-Stock exhaust - Might as well keep it quiet for a while
-Active Autowerke Prima Kit (eventually Stage 1 or 2 kit)

Cooling...
-Upgraded Radiator
-VAC Motorsports Upgraded Oil Cooler
-A/A Thermostat
-OEM replacement water pump and expansion tank (good to do before/around 70k miles)

Driveline...
-Clutch when I need it (ie when the stock one goes)
-4.10s (eventually no rush)

Suspension/Chassis...
-ST Suspension Coilovers with Turner Motorsport Camber plates
-GC or Turner Sway bays (if the GC coils need extra stiffness)
-Turner Motorsport Rear Camber Arms
-Brey/Krause Harness bar and Harnesses
-HPF Weld-In Sub-frame kit

-RSMs (for RTABS see below)

Brakes...
-Centric Floating Rotors
-Hawk HP-Plus Pads (Street)
-Carbotech XP14/XP12 Pads (Track)
-Bavarian Auto Brake Caliper bushings
-Goodridge Stainless lines (bought)
-Motul RBF 600 fluid (bought)

Wheels/Tires...
-19x8.5 and 19x9.5 BBS RS-GT street wheels with Toyo T1Rs - 245/35 F and 275/30 R and 12mm spacers in the rear (all bought)
-18x9 OEM rear wheels (all four corners) with NT01s for track

Maintenance (before 60k)...
-Inspection II (which will have the following done at the same time...
-Coolant Flush
-PS flush (done with new PS pump)
-RTABs (bought)
-Brake fluid flush (when doing brakes)

Appearance Mods will be ...
-CSL V2 front bumper (already bought but not installed) with the second (inner) set of fog light holes setup for brake cooling.
-CSL CF Trunk
-CSL CF diffuser
-Khoalty LED Angel eyes
-Silver/Stealth corner bulbs
-Black Fender Grills
-Black Kidney grills
-Already has 5% tint all around

i will agree that it is a nice body style but people forget about the 1988 M3 with the flared fenders and DOHC 4 cylinder pushing 194hp and very close to that torque numbers lol.

Inspection is done, oil change is done.
Tint is done, once-over is done (might need a few little things - nothing epic in terms of being able to drive the car tho)
Stereo goes in tomorrow.
I'll wash it up and take some pics then...

After that ... Wheels/tires and sway bars time.

Probably the only CSL parts it will see is a diffuser and front splitters.
Linea Corse LC818s are going on for the street, pretty set on that.
And I just cannot justify the added expense for the CSL trunk (or front bumper for that matter - to lose foglights) when it adds no performance really.

Nice - looks very clean for an 03. When I got mine last year it had 42k and it's an 05.

btw, I just got pulled over by a snarky state cop the other day because he said my tint was too dark, and I have like 20% on the front. Luckily he just said 'take it off'. bs
