Saw this on facebook today.

Subaru: "get ready for a surprise at the NY autoshow"

That is the unmistakable outline of an STi (not wagon). I am SO excited, the oppression will end.

in fact, the wheelbase looks pretty short, it could even be a coupe. (or the subaru version of the FT86 but it has more of an impreza profile)

Definately NOT a coupe though.

Don't get too excited, its still gonna look similar to the other stuff they've been putting out lately, haha.

I just got off the phone with my regional rep from Subaru.

2011 WRX STI info!

Stiffer spring rates and sways front & rear. A further upgrade from the STI Special Edition that was just released.

Sedan, Limited Sedan AND 5 Doors will all be available.

All STIs get the front lip spoiler standard & the STI Sedans get a bigger rear wing.

All WRXs and STIs have bluetooth connectivity standard.

BBS wheels will be POLISHED only, no more gold

As far as the HP goes, he doesn't know yet, HIS guess is 330 - 350 crank.

true, but heres the thing. The current styling is only a little bit off in little ways. all can easily be fixed for a small amount of money.

for the hatch its mostly the tail lights that bug me. but the grille needs to be fixed too, and the front bumper.

ive got all the details, and have seen a few in person already....I cant share any details but can inform that if you drive in the cherry hill area pretty often, on route 70 to be specific you might just see one....Before the releasing up in NY.

Let's wait and see before going nuts over it...There is a lot of ground to address, not even getting into pistons, etc.

You work at a dealer too? Or at SOA?

My rep said that HE can't even access the HP and TQ numbers yet.......
