SJ For the people, by the people.
A buisness owner approached by a single guy just SCREAMS hey dude let me use your lot to mess around in and cause trouble, but if we all work together we can show the owner that its not going to be some bull**** burn out party. As i said, im callin you guys out, Envy, Poorboy, Redline..all you guys; if this thing is run by a bunch of clubs, no one crackin whips more than another, we can have somethin fun and safe for everyone to come out. My thoughts are using the lot that is used for the tuesday night meets in moorestown, which is a pretty good size; for on a thursday to make up for the loss of woodbury. Lowes and ballys seem to be cool with the idea, and lowes has bathrooms! Lets use this thread to pool ideas and locations we can possibly have this meet, so that we can have somethin fun to do on a thursday night. Club officers please make yourself known on this thread because eventualy i would like to sit down with all of you one day and really get this thing crackin. So Whats your idea for a weekly thursday meet? |

I wouldn't use the Sports Authority location as a Thursday meet since it's already a dedicated Tuesday night meet. That wouldn't be cool to everyone who organized it, and the Loews right there isn't exactly "cool" with anyone meeting there since they have complained to the cops before when ricers do stupid things, and the cops have come and broken up the party when that happened. If people do start meeting up there on Thursdays and something bad goes down then everyone who goes on Tuesdays won't be allowed back, so you can see how that's unfair and pretty much "stealing" someone else's spot.
It's in Maple Shade anyway. Moorestown cops wouldn't put up with meets. What's the point in having a huge meet? It's fun to see different cars, but it's uncontrollable. When people who aren't local to that meet begin to come they could care less about the longevity of that meet. Well, based on what I saw at Woodbury, that's not exactly true. Locals can be pretty stupid, too. |

no point in having 2 meets at the same spot, rather have all the ppl come to the spot 1 day. Im not a regular to the meets,i drop by every now so i dont no what all stupid stuff people are doing but i think having it another parking garage would be ideal since the meet can still be held when it rains, a new parking garage is going to be opened at the market place. Thats the shopping center in cherryhill that has cheesecake factory, best buy, wegmans, home depot and so on. Another reason this place is good is the location becuase of all the shops and restaurants available.

Cherry Hill does have one spot that we never got kicked out of by the man. This old ass security lady kicked us out but the spot never got big. Its at the old homedepot parking lot in Cherry Hill off of rt 70. Where the Old country Buffet and Shop Rite is at.
I also proposed a meet at the old Point theatre parking lot awhile back but we never got to test run it, that is offa rt 70 and rt 38 right by the super wawa. As far as your best bet for a meet with cooperating police officers it would have to be Mt Laurel, our best buy meet was gigantic to say the least, and the cops put up with A LOT. So I say Mt Laurel would be ur best bet for a meet as long as the property owners don't complain. Also another thing I recommend is have people PM you that wanna run this thing, and test run the meet for a few weeks and keep the spot secret, see how it holds up with 20-40 cars and see if people complain, before you post up a spot and everyone shows up and then we get kicked out and mass confusion follows.

Cherry Hill in general is not a good idea.
Cherry Hill, Marlton, Voorhees, Haddonfield, Moorestown... the cops are all basically the same. These are affluent towns and you will all be ticketed and kicked out. |

U do realize the Best Buy meet orginated in Cherry Hill right? **** ran for over 6months problem free, until the guy that owns the property didn't want us there anymore. To my recollection we never have been kicked out of a spot by a cherry hill cop unless the property owner didnt want us there, at that point the cops just have to do their job.

I didn't know that. That shopping center has changed dramatically, though. There's a lot of money in there along with security now.
Well, whatever the case, good luck with your meet organizing. |

I know guys, and it effin blows. Theres always gonna be those douche bags who try and ruin it. Hence why im sayin lets get all the clubs to work together and find just some off-sided 100 spot lot and just get **** organized. If its just one club runnin the show, yea, itll be cool for a while, but if we have 4 of five clubs workin the thing, it could be pretty good. Im not looking for a big meet, no bigger than woodbury, but just somethin to call home on a weekly basis. :-DI was hoping woodbury would have lasted through the summer cuz that was a real sweet spot. After talking with a few of the guys, there are a few of us with connections in the PD of surrounding areas like CH, moorestown..etc. I myself have a window in lawnside; if anyone knows any really good spots.
Summer meets are the ****; lets see what we can come up with. |

So I searched for the Old Meet Thread, And You guys Take this Way to Seriously. I mean don't get me wrong...Its one thing to have guidlines and rules so **** doesn't get out of hand...But to sit there and say your overwhelmed because your worried about the well being of others and whatnot...Its a car meet, We arent doing brain surgery here. And For once in my life...If you go back and Re read Cleanneon's post...I agree with him...Car meets are going to run themselves for the most part...No matter how hard you try to control people or set rules...People will break them.
Look at the Sonic Meet coming up...No matter what Troll thinks, If he expects EVERY SINGLE car/bike/truck/vehicle to roll up and be on best behavior I'll personally donate 100 Dollars to Make a Wish...And you can print this out and bring it to the Meet because I guarantee you SOMEONE will Rev/Play loud music/Speed away or Pop Limiter somewhere somehow during the event. Car shows have been going on for ages...and everyone I;ve gone to...If people act stupid They get punished...Rarely does the entire car show get punished...You guys had a good thing going with the Garage and Letter to be there...Therefore if ppl act out of line you should let the Police handle it and continue to go about your business. Just my .02 Good luck finding a new spot. I was looking forward to attending the meet but with the debacle you have on your hands now, your killing it right before the weather breaks. Smart Decision...

What about the H-Mart/Danzeisen & Quigley parking lot on rt70. They close at like 9 and its kinda down a hill and nobody will see us on 70. Its a pretty big lot and the other businesses above the supermarket would not be affected because they also close early and they have separate parking

Having 2 meets at the same spot on different days is not a good idea.

the cherry hill mall has a huge parking garage. but the thing is, you might not be able to have like a small gathering there. but it would hurt to ask.

What about the Burlington center mall or that willingboro mart off rt130? Both places have an annual car show so I don't think they hate cars like other places.. Both also have huge parking lots...

stumbled on a spot that might work. i believe its in delran on route 130 and s chester ave. i google mapped it and this is what i got im pretty sure thats the spot. it looked to be an old closed down Cowdoor. i think thats what they were called. but the lot is a nice size and local swine may not pick on us to much being that we are on a condemed property. alex maybe we can cruise up there one nite so i can show you what im talking about. and its a wendys right there along with a shell gas station. for the people who need to use bathrooms and want to eat.
