electrical help needed

anyone on here in the southern nj area that knows a lot about electrical work especially on vw? heres the problem ok first off dont know if this is the rite spot but here we go

now this may not make any sense but this will be the best way i can explain it.

i got a 02 golf gti and all of a sudden im haveing a problem. this issue happened today, 2 days ago, and 2 days before that. ill be using the car with no problem. then will let it sit for a little bit and when i try to start it it wont start. no cranking or nothin. kinda like a dead battery but all the warning lights come on. (like normal) then eventually it will start. now as far as tonight goes it did it. got the car home, went to go out again and as soon as i open the door the door lights flash and it makes like a clicking noise in side car. so i use the key pad and lock it. no sound. then use it to unlock it and no noise. open door and still does same thing and wont start. had advane check the battery, and altenator and it came up fine. did like a diagnosis thing. hooked up to battery and had me turn on lights, heat, rev it etc. also noticed today that it also resets my clock n tripometer everytime this happens

like i said prob doesnt make sense but really need this issue fixed.

check to make sure that your battery terminals are clean and not loose.
