The destroyed parts picture thread

Post up! Here some of my collection...

[IMG][/IMG]

Two 4x4 transfer cases out of the Jeep. 1 siezed a bearing on I95, the other one cracked in half while pulling a stuck 14,000 skid loader out of a customer's future swimming pool. It just couldn't take the abuse, what a load of junk...which brings me to the busticated Dana 70 ring & pinion set that failed at the same time, the pinion is wasted and like 20 teeth of the ring- JUNK I tell you!

Then there is the Austin Mini cylinder head that couldn't take 'the heat'

How 'bout those diesel cylinder heads? 427,000 miles on those things and they decided they couldn't take the pressure any more, and cracked. More JUNK!

Makes people think that I am abusive to my vehicles. I think these products were junk to begin with Well, they all got loaded into the back of the van and hauled off to the metal recycler where I hope they are doomed to reincarnation as Coors Lite beer cans to be violated by some candy a$$ Coors Lite drinker.

Anywho, I guess all I really had to say is that I regained some valuable garage real estate. Ready for more projects.

Stock rods and overbore Ross pistons, plus his machine shop screwed up the overbore, so th pistons expanded and seized. That's what we think happened. But either way, his oil pan was holding the block together.

This is posted over on a Saturn forum, but the motor is a turbo Probe.

That's due to lost-form casting.

HAHAHA! Those are forged ross pistons and forged crower rods broken there, dude.

And look at the crank. It didn't even need to be turned after that.

This is what happens when you get a machine shop that can't measure. It was only a 75 shot, but the clearances weren't right, so it got hot, siezed, puddled, and kaboomernated.

Let's rename this thread. anything destroyed qualifies, tools,cars,parts,.... bring it on.

I just left Bonehead's house and forgot to get a pic of his Summit mini starter in his Chevelle. He sheered all the teeth off the starter.
