Car got egged tonight of all nights

Being home for spring break I finally had a chance to wash my car today. After driving up to Penn State last weekend through all the salt, snow and sleet to see some buddies from high school. So I spent part of my afternoon today washing and waxing her up all nice and clean and went out tonight to a friend's house to chill. As I'm driving home I look in the rearview mirror and there is something gooey on the glass of the hatch. Well I get out of the car to check when I got home there what was it? EGGS! And not just on the glass it ran all across the truck and down some got on the very back.
Just my luck it happens the day I washed my car. I don't get why people think it's funny to throw eggs at cars. If it wasn't 2:30 AM when I got home and my sister wasn't parked in the driveway I would have taken out the hose and washed it again. I tried to get as much off as I could with a couple of wet rags

I never understood why kids did that when I was younger. My car isn't anything super nice and the paint isn't in great condition. It pisses me off most because I spent a good bit of my afternoon yesterday washing it and giving it a nice coat of wax just to have to rewash it today.

When I worked at a restaurant one of our customers came in to eat and left the top down on his old muscle car. Cant remember what it was because it was so long ago, but it was a very nice red car with a white top. Someone egged it and hit the inside of the windsheild, splattering it all over the dash and interior.

Guy gave me a $20 tip for cleaning it up while he ate.

Ive had my DD egged, ran across and jumped on. You name it. Kids in my area suck. And somehow i know they heard about it through older people (specially after the police came the one time). and it has since stopped. Luckily it was cold out when i woke up and the egg was frozen stiff so i kinda just scrapped it off(ever time too; they didnt learn).
Had my windows cracked too so some got on my carpet( what a pain that is to clean!). And during the summer my mustang, even my DD. Look brand new. Wash them so often. I hate kids now adays, they all suck.
I keep a very close eye on my cars now and am ready to run out of my house and start throwin haymakers at any slight noise i hear.

When i was young i never egged anyones car or house. Ive egged people. but never their car. lol

Just get that stuff off as soon as possible man.

NOPE, it was never cool. Just a ****ty thing to do. People grow up and realize the error of their ways.
When stuff happens to me I try to think how much more BAD Karma is coming my way from my teens and early twenties (shudders)

Well think about it this way, good thing it happened as soon as you waxed the car, and not before. The wax should protect your paint from the egg.

back when i was driving my truck it was Halloween and i was leaving a girls house. we had done some trick or treating and extracurricular activities hehe, when all of a sudden all this goo, like egg stuff smacked against my passenger window. I stop and see a group of like 5 kids run into this house, i go up and knock on the door (like someone was gonna answer) so i went back and looked at the door and it had gone inside the door and was becoming sticky. I was freaking out so i walked up to the door again and this time someone cracks the door just as i am walking up then shuts it, i got a running start and bruce lee kicked their screen door in and then left. thats goo took me 2 hours to get off the door
