AMAZING VIDEO - HOT VERSION "ROTARY ROCKET"

I hope this isnt a repost, but a friend of mine sent this my way:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...=best+motoring

This is the entire show - nearly an hour and a half long. It begins with examining the potential of the RX-8's updated rotary versus its forced-induction predecessors. There is even a visit to Amemiya-San's world renowned rotary performance shop!!!

This video isnt just for rotorheads, though...

There is a touge battle with a SIIICK STi, an Amemiya FD RX-7, a nasty pink Silvia, an EVO MR, and an NSX. The reigning "touge monster" a R34 GTR, must battle the winner of the previous car's showdown. Some S2000's and other hondas as well. There are a few segments of D1 GP cars as well.

Check it out guys, its an awesome vid!

-Jeff

Great vids!

Not to threadjack, can someone give me a lesson on how to use the Google player?
How do you download it and save and watch repeatedly?
And does it need to access the internet once you DL the vid? (what is that gray status bar that keeps moving across the scroll area?)

(computer keeps getting locked up-however the large vid files are all there) TIA

That was great. Those cars faired well against the STi even in wet conditions. Looks like so much fun.

When my brother's jeep (used to be mine) was in for inspection I asked them to change the diff oil. The called me later that day to inform me there was a problem.
These are the diff gears

The mechanic said it looked like some one had been doing heavy duty off roading, but that jeep had only been off road 3 times in it's life. No, what had actually happened was a lot of burn outs, a lot more drifting, and one clutch kick (to this day that clutch kick was the scariest thing I've ever done). This is why you don't do burn outs and drifting with open diffs. It just beats the gears to nothing.

I just love that Amemiya-San's car destroyed cars posting up almost double the horsepower. He is truly not only a rotary genius, but an icon in racing of all aspects - whether GT or Drift. I want to visit his shop when I am in Japan this May.
