WRX: Anyone Here Running GrimmSpeed's New Electronic Boost Control Solenoid?

I just stumbled on this on another site and read a ton of positive reviews on it. I'm strongly considering selling my PITT EBC (which I still haven't installed yet) and picking up this instead. I was just wondering if anyone on here has had any personal experience with them yet? Word is that it's much easier to tune and more responsive than some of the other 3 port solenoid solutions used out there. Also it's supposedly "plug and play" so it doesn't need any cutting of the stock harness/connector. Anyone know anything more?

Dont you have an external waste gate? Go with a manual boost controller like the Hallman RX Pro. $95 I have been running mine for over two years now, you have to adjust it when winter rolls in and and summer comes but its not as much of a pain in the ass as I thought it would be. Its been so long since I've had to worry about boost creep that I dont even remember what it is.

oh you will need a retune for it, just as you would with the new solenoid.

Yes I do have EWG. I have an Hallman MBC laying around, a PITT EBC laying around but a lot of the things I was reading reading to indicate that an MBC is the least desirable of the 3. I dunno.

I installed one in my car,(well me and jodie lol) and can say it truley is "plug and play."

However as far as the tuning goes I cant help you, during my build I frequently consulted my tuner(Chris @ EFI). He said he preffered the grimmspeed EBCS over everything else out there on the market. I wanted to run an apexi avc-r and he said there was no need, with the cobb AP that would control all of that and all I needed was a EBCS.

just my .02

Thanks! This is the kind of feedback I'm looking for! I've read some reviews where many people say they've noticed a difference in boost smoothness just by swapping out the stock solenoid for the GrimmSpeed. I think I'm gonna roll with this.
