Dont you have an external waste gate? Go with a manual boost controller like the Hallman RX Pro. $95 I have been running mine for over two years now, you have to adjust it when winter rolls in and and summer comes but its not as much of a pain in the ass as I thought it would be. Its been so long since I've had to worry about boost creep that I dont even remember what it is.
oh you will need a retune for it, just as you would with the new solenoid.

Yes I do have EWG. I have an Hallman MBC laying around, a PITT EBC laying around but a lot of the things I was reading reading to indicate that an MBC is the least desirable of the 3. I dunno.

I installed one in my car,(well me and jodie lol) and can say it truley is "plug and play."
However as far as the tuning goes I cant help you, during my build I frequently consulted my tuner(Chris @ EFI). He said he preffered the grimmspeed EBCS over everything else out there on the market. I wanted to run an apexi avc-r and he said there was no need, with the cobb AP that would control all of that and all I needed was a EBCS. just my .02 -Gary
