Awesome Plate!!! The gvr4 is exactly what got me into the whole tuner car thing back in 97 (after I took my first ride in one of course).

thanks for all the compliments guys. im a fan of the plate also

the car is bone stock as of now. zero rust, and an all around clean galant. not sure what im doing with the car in the near future. thinking about picking up a duramax in the fall, and making this like my weekend race car. or going the opposite direction and just getting an evo and maybe keep the galant as my DD

Know your roots, son. This is why the EVO is what it is current day. And, actually, they got better as the years went on. The JDM only GVR4s in later years had the same engine and trans out of the 3000GT VR4. om nom nom,

Just to correct you, the late model Galant VR-4s were using the 6A12 with a Mitsubishi transmission. The 6A12 is a 2.5 DOHC twin turbo V6. The 3000GT VR4/GTO Twin Turbo used a 6G72 with a Getrag transmission. The 6G72 is a 3.0 DOHC twin turbo V6. It's a common misconception. But if you were to actually see the two engines, they look nothing alike.

since that photo i switched the 92 tails out for 91s. i feel like they go a little better with darker cars.

i can get more pictures, but its not much to look at. its bone stock and boring. the coolest part about the car is the vanity plate (FML)

i need to put rear brake pads on it and weld a straight pipe where the cat USED to be. clogged the damn thing in the 2 blizzards we got so now it sounds like a damn dump truck/tractor. i wont be doing anything with it for a while, might end up selling it come September. we'll see what happens.

the thing is an absolute BEAST in the snow, especially with the snow tires i have. it surprised me what it went through
