Hmm? I thought the IX was gonna have a rear diffuser?

The new front looks pretty good in those shots.

Nice pics.

I am disappointed in the rear bumper too, but the front is growing on me.
I may have to get one...

I reallly like the fact that it dosn't have that plastic body colored triangle where the dimond star emblem is.. more evo VI looking... Not sure about those nostrils though.

ps, btw: that exhaust is super straight..

Yeah... I was thinking of getting a rear off the IX and putting it on my VIII. I'm still getting a diffuser however.

And "kef," because you were there, what was your impression of the IX? How is the interior... exterior, etc.

That pipe to muffler 90 degree bend looks way restrictive on the Evo.

I'm not too sure I like the flaring nostrils on the front bumber. I hope it looks better in person.

The interior looked the same? one of the photos there is the inside of it. it was on a pedistal so I couldn't get in it.

I wasn't too big on it either, but it grows on you. the production version is a lot cleaner than the preproduction one.

I don't think the factory wants the angled muffler look

I agree, but it has gotta be uber restrictive. 90 degree turn into the muffler, 90 degree turn inside the muffler.

If you put the muffler on the other side -- still got the same thing going.

That's where the aftermarket comes into play (just got back 1/2 hour ago from the show)

I agree 110%, it looks like ther would be a nice gain from an aftermarket exhaust. Are the Evo VIII's like that?
