Fantasy Baseball 2k10 DRAFT IS TONIGHT 3/16 @ 9:15PM. BE THERE!!!!

Hey everyone,

Last year a few of us had a fantasy baseball league. I'd like to run one again
this year. This is open to anyone who loves baseball and will pay attention
throughout the season. We have a couple options for which Fantasy leagues
to use, but I'm partial to Yahoo and/or ESPN.

Let me know! I'd like to get at least 7-10 guys for the league, will make the
draft and the season much mor interesting!

I'll certainly play in your league Bill, it'll save me the hassle of managing two leagues again this year. I would vote ESPN since my other fantasy teams are through there.

is there a way to manage the lineups daily as opposed to weekly in ESPN leagues?

we usually don't play for money but we could definitely do that if we had at least 7-10 serious people to do it.

I was just guessing to keep people interested and all that money was involved. My bro-in-law did one last season that I went to the draft for and it seemed pretty cool...like there was a buy-in to get into it and then you can decide if people put money into the pot per trade or something. Idk the exact way they played but it seemed pretty interesting.

I couldn't do money.... but if there is an open spot, I am in.

This will be my ONLY fantasy baseball team this year. Trying to manage 4, work, and have a life, it kinda sucked.

And, GO BRAVES!! (yea, I said it).

Yes, you most certainly can. But you need to set the league up that way from the get go. It's impossible to switch it from weekly to daily once the season begins. Keep in mind that especially when doing a daily league you'll need to set weekly pitching start limits to avoid pitching-start whoring. I also prefer ESPN because it's significantly more customizable than other sites.

I don't need a money enticement to convince me to be competitive, but that's just me.

I can understand no money cost for the trades or anything, but nothing to even join? I see it as the possibility that you have guys that draft good players and lose interest when their teams not performing, and then everyone who is actually involved losing out on having quality players. I think a small fee to join would keep that away from this. Just my two cents.

i agree with your point, but as long as the people who join are avid fans, it shouldn't be a problem paying attention throught the season.

How about maybe just a $5 buy-in? Winner take all? Any thoughts?
