New guy from Sussex.

Just stopping by to say Hey to all you TriStateTuners. I also included pics since everyone loves pictures. I picked this up last week; a 96' Talon Tsi with 77,600 miles on it from the quasi original owner I say quasi because the PO bought it off of his girlfriends mother (who was the original owner, and only put like 5K a year on it) and the PO did most of the actual driving of the car.

Here's a quick mod list / work done on the car. Most of it was done by ATX Motorsports and I got the receipts to boot

Sweet dual Flex-A-Lite fan set-up
Cylinder head overhaul
Balance shaft delete
Hallman MBC
ACT 2600
Cometic head gasket
Timing belt and water pump
Custom o2 housing with dump tube
Greddy front mount
Greddy RS BOV
Boost Gauge
Walbro 255 (I have to make sure)
Tranny and T-case fluids

+ some misc stock parts, extra front mount I'm gonna sell, and SAFC II

LAST but not least is the turbo set up. Its some huge t3/t4 hybrid that I was planning on selling come summer. However after I dug around in the engine bay I discovered its more then likely an ebay manifold and turbo set up DOH! I was planning on changing it out to a 16G or the FP Big T28 by the end of the year anyway; but I guess I'll be swapping turbos sooner then I thought. Aww well, I'm just going to not beat on the car for now But this gives me a great chance to learn how to wrench on DSMs

More pics to come when its warm enough to do a full detail.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately the car is filthy and I can't do a thing about it since its so damn cold!! Come spring time its getting a good clay bar, wash, and wax.

I picked it up for $4500. It was on the upper end of what I wanted to spend, but it has low miles and the receipts from ATX total over $5500 in the past 9 months. So I said hell with waiting around any longer and pulled the trigger on it.

I clearly need the wheel gap for when I go off-roading with my awd goodness.

I'll be over sometime with the SAFC. I gotta get a wideband and crap first.
