Its time to make a switch...
I have been doing research on Nikon and Canon for a while now, and im leaning more towards Canon today (my thoughts change like once a week!) My questions are; which Canon body would be a good entry level pro camera? Im currently looking into the 50D. Im thinking I would start with a xxD body and work my way up to a 7D or 1D body. Any advice would help out. Thanks Corey

are you looking for a new or used body?
if you haven't look into a 40D, it could be a great budget option and can be picked up for about $600 used. Why not a 5D? a used 5D is about $1300 and would be my #1 choice if i was in the market for a body.

Grimm, not sure yet if I want to go used or new. Most di hard camera people take care of there systems pretty good, so used is not out of the question.
I did check out the 40D, they are at a good price point. As of now im leaning more towards the 7D. Do you have any experience or input about them?
