It's been this way for 15 years.

Trash steals trash. I find it rather funny these guys would walk right by a BMW or Jaguar and steal a 15 year old honda civic so they can put parts on their cars.

If they stole the Bimmer they could sell it and get enough money to buy a bimmer themselves.

It just makes sense from a thieves perspective.

Probably because most parts are interchangeable between all gens and civics/integras and that creates a big market?

What I meant was things like ECUs, rear disc swaps and engine mounts used in motor swaps...etc..that make Hondas worth stealing. One man's trash is another's treasure.

what a joke... these small time thieves go after what is easy to steal, not what costs the most.

I agree. We all do this because it's our passion and when something like this happens it's such a low blow.

hondas today are like the camaro/firebird/monte carlo/regal/etc. of the 80s. easy to steal, interchangeable parts and easy to move the parts cheap.
