Streeteg's RB Datsun 260z Tuned by R/T Tuning in Lansdale Pa

Ok Ladies and Gents today was finally the day I was able to get my car on the dyno and make some power. The first time i made it to the dyno my MAF voltage was maxing out almost instantly due to the pressure built up by an inefficient filter (Hours of research later)

The Shop that did the tune was R/T tuning in Lansdale PA. I have been to my fair share of shops and this by far was the most professional well run place ive ever been to. Right down to business, knowledgeable staff and great equipment.

Anyway Here is the setup.

s2 Rb25det
Stock MAF
Intake w/ no filter
Ebay FMIC
Greddy Type-s BOV
Greddy intake manifold
Halman Boost controller (although boost control is a big issue I will be fixing upon the turbo upgrade because the boost started at 8 lbs, crept to 12 then fell off to 10 at the end
Yellow Jacket Coil Packs
NGK iridium 1 step colder plugs @ .32 gap
stock turbo elbow DP thingy
3" exhaust from that elbow back to a HKS Carbon Ti Muffler, no cat no resonator.
Stock Injectors @ what I think was almost 90% duty cycle
bumped redline to 7k


The results uncorrected were I think 290whp and 243tq. The Maf was near maxxed out, as were the injectors.

The car is a 74 260z- that tips the scales at 2450lbs.

Anyway, below is the car and the dyno. I did a quick butt dyno launch outside my house and it is night and day.

I dont really know to be honest. That has been my server for a while--- Its a godaddy server and i havent had any issues with actual adware it just shows "malicious" which is weak but I have no other way to host.

Hey Eric, thanks for the great words and I was really excited with the results today. Especially after the issues we had last time....

With that being said, its come a far way! You really did a great job in the past few months to get that car in the condition it was today so we could get it dialed in. Hope everything feels great and I look forward to when you get that thing to the next level!!

Awesome stuff! This car IS the most unique and solid build on this site! Cool a** owner also (Eric rolled my fenders).

-What's being used to tune the car (ecu wise)? Whats the future plan?

Again, good stuff, and have also heard nothing but great things about RT.

any reason for the a/f being a little all over the place under 4k? seems a little rich

sweet ass car though, front end reminds me of an old school shelby daytona

Thats right where the turbo spools up and the boost fluctuates a lil bit there if i recall but its really not "all over the Place"....he has the scale out on the graph pretty good...it ranges from 12.0-12.3 its a lil on the rich side up high, but Eric was talking about boost creep in the cold and on the street somtimes so we kinda just wanted to play it safe.... Car needs to do an alternator upgrade and when that happens im sure we can trim it in a lil better and make over 300whp

yeah i see its scaled out. just noticed it was rich down low. and i just overall meant the difference from 12.3 to what looks like 11.3. but thats an understandable reason

Nice, get some bigger injectors and a bigger MAF in there, you wouldn't wanna lock those up and smoke a piston in that beautiful car!

Thanks guys. As for the alternator we are waiting on a longer sr20 alternator bolt that allows the retention of the stock bracket. The car was tuned on an L-Jetro Power-FC. Vince also weighed teh car and it came in at 2450, with 52.7% and and 50/50 side to side. I was really impressed. Still have some work to go but she is getting there slowly but surely. I cant wait to get the spark from a full 14 volts across the board at full load.
