I need a box built for my type-r's....the pre-fab is killing me, anyone know any good shops?

3.531cu ft internal

38Hz tuning

¾: MDF

32” wide x 14” tall x 17.5” deep

Port = 12.5” tall x 3.5” wide

Length will be an L on either side : 12.5” deep and then 3.75” behind each sub

If you dont mind driving to PA there is a place in West Chester called Exotic Customs. His name is Mike. They do amazing work. PM me and I will give you the details and send you some pictures of what they did on my Z.

Also an awesome shop.I have seen there stuff before and its clean.

The guys over at GVA are legit. Chris has been at it for a minute, and his crew are all masters of their craft. I wouldn't hesitate to throw any project I had their way.

I wouldn't look any further than Good Vibes. The box he built in his Evo was boss.

the only other shop I'd recommend is World Wide Stereo in Montgomeryville PA... they were 4th in the world in 2008 for sound quality.

wassup guys....a lil late, I went ahead and jumped in and built the box myself, wasnt too bad. Idk, I've been into car audio for a while so I figured I'd at least try. Came out pretty good, the type R's seem to like the box tuned @ 38hz.

The new plan is to recreate the sound/feel I felt 10 years ago! It was (3) kicker solo-barics on a rockford 1000d I believe in my friends older brother Honda Accord. I remember that whole 30 minute ride home, my breath was skewed the whole time b/c of how hard it, out of a TRUNK mind you.

I need THAT breath taking bass back in my life haha. Soooo, coincidentally kicker just remade and put out "kicker solo-baric classics" based off of the older circular solo-barics, I've tried so many different sub set-ups, why play around nemore. Went ahead and ordered (3) of these new and improved kicker solo-baric, they would need a box that gives them .88 cubes a piece and lets hope they can gimme the sound that scared me some years ago haha.

Thanks on the input fellas, talking w/a couple ppl about box designs so it's still in the air. I just want LOUD at this point, cost isnt an issue, SPL comps arent a top priority, just surface area and moving a lot of air is priority one, I shoulda did the system right the first time around.
