Any other TSTers Rock Climb?

I was curious, so I thought i'd see who else here on TST goes rock climbing either at a gym, or outdoors.

I myself climbed back in high school & my 1st year of college. I had to take a break due to injury but 4 months or so ago I got back into climbing thanks mostly in part to a friend who was looking to get into climbing herself. I find myself fortunate to live close to High Rocks @ Ralph Stover State Park, which has a ton of top roping routes. When its warm out, I climb at least twice a week. In the winter, we have been going to the Doylestown Rock Gym, although we may be switching to Rockville Climbing Center in NJ, which has better (but more expensive) facilities.

Anyone else out there dig the vertical?

I used to go once a week or so because I lived right around the corner. Now, the closest one I know of is about 30 minutes away so I haven't gone in almost a year.

I have only done it a few times, but one of my best friends is hardcore into rock climbing. He went to University of Montana so he could do it every weekend. They ride horses out to the rocks, and camp out and what not. Its awesome!!

I used to, spent my college years working as an instructor. After college though, I just kinda stopped. I was never that great technically, but could brute force my way through routes due to low body weight and long reach.

I have a problem with the reach thing lol. I'm short at only 5'5". Some routes work out for me just because they have bigger holds that allow me to just leap. Some are harder for me because I cant reach, and the holds aren't big enough for me to catch myself on if I leap. Works out in my favor though. I get a lot of satisfaction when I get to the top

I used to climb pretty often. I had all my own gear (harnesses, ropes, webbing, nuts, cams, figure 8's, carabiners, etc. blah blah). I would go to the Philly Rock gym every couple weeks, and would head out to Ralph Stover state park for my outdoor fix.

Then I gained 50 lbs, started working, lost all of my free time, and stopped climbing altogether.

The Doylestown spot is a blast, and a good friend of mine is there constantly. I've only climbed maybe twice in the last two years, but in high-school I probably went every other weekend to Go Vert on Delaware Ave. I'd definately like to get back into it now.
