Best place to purchase a remote start/alarm system and have it installed?

Ok so I absolutely HATE coming out to a cold car in the morning, and I park semi-far away from my house so I hate walking all the way to the car to start it. So I don't lol. So I decided to give myself a Christmas present. Wheres a good place to get a remote start/alarm system and have it installed? I live in Coatesville and am willing to travel within like an hour or so to go somewhere reputable. Input? I know at least one vendor on here does it but I don't know who.

P.S. it's for a 2003 Mustang GT 5 speed

You can install it yourself. Its as easy as doing a head unit, exept you run the anteea up your a piller and splice into about 10 wires in your steering column. If you have a manual, there are kits that offer a clutch override, but don't leave your car in gear when parked or it will be some interesting sounds. I would adjust your ebrake to be a little tighter just as a precaution.

I did one in my Lumina when I was in high school. Its very easy and is about 3 hours of work if you solder each wire rather then crimp connecting. But I'm detailed and it was one of my first times working on anything electrical.

I emailed them already lol. Waiting for a response. And Jpalamar, I know I COULD, but with something like this, I'd rather leave it to a shop. Cuz worst case scenario if something gets fuggled up, it's not my fault. LOL

Well I may or may not be getting this done. I might be picking up a set of MAC long tube headers and an offroad prochamber, so if I get those, I'm not getting this. If I don't get those, I am getting this. We shall see.

+1 for good vibes. I got a STUPID good deal installed for just a remote start... and it probably would have been cheaper without the extra bypass for the new fancy key.

go to them if you do decide to get one still

I bought an alarm system from HookedOnTronics.com before, they usually have good prices and free shipping and you can save cash by installing it yourself if you're even remotely competent with hooking up wires.

Why stop at remote start? Why not just get a 2-way alarm system? It wouldn't cost a whole lot more.

Well as of right now this is on hold. I need to get my headers installed first. But when I do go ahead with this, I do plan to do a 2 way alarm/remote start.

As far as a whole system, if you want warranty and such it would need to be installed by an authorized installer. If you care about that...

With someone like this, I'm definitely having it installed. I'm confident I could do it, I just don't want to mess with it. Had it been my old car, I wouldn't have a problem tearin in to it, but not on this car.
