My First American ride(SVT lightning)

About a month or so ago traded my 03 350z in on a 03 Lightning!!! I have always wanted this truck since i was a kid, finally got around to buying one!!! I'm loving it, plans are to black the whole truck out!? Feel free to leave comments, anyone else around DE have a lightning or know any meets for fords? New to American muscle, but slowly but surely learning my way around the motor!!!
Cheers to all!!!

dude... I LOVE those trucks so much... I'm by far not a pickup truck guy, but I'd get one in a heartbeat...

Love the black on black.. just get some chrome wheels.

Thanks man, not a fan of trucks either, unless they are jacked up and covered in mud(older models)!!! I was thinking more about PC the wheels black, but they just got a fresh PC of silver, so not touching them till i have the money!!?

Sweet pickup! (pun intended)

SVTPerformance.com is the place to be if you're not already on there. The 2nd gen lightning section is pretty big.

I'm not a truck guy, but the Lightnings have always been on my list of cool cars. Join SVTPreformance.com because there is alot of good knowledge and parts there. I'm on there from when I had my SVT Focus.

Beautiful truck with tons of potential. Modularfords.com is another great forum with tons of tech support for all things ford.

Got any plans for performance upgrades in the near future?

Such a big truck that's hard to get moving. Heard one whine the other day and it sounded nasty. One truck I wouldn't mind owning.

For now only got a 4lb pulley, magnaflow exhuast, K&N intake, and E-fans!? I need to get through this X-mas and pay off some of my credit card, but will definatly be upgrading some stuff!!! Looking into a single throttle body, HFC's, new plugs and COP's and cleanin out the intercooler, then get a good tune and see where im at!?

Nice, definitely got some good plans for it. As far as the throttle body Accufab is the way to go for your truck, Magnaflow cats, NGK TR6s, no need for new COPs unless the stock ones are bad, then you should just replace with stock ones and save some money for a better mod. I see you're a little far but if you're ever in the area we can definitely tune it for you as well
