Any here work for Verizon Wireless that can hook me up with a good price on The V?

I'm torn between choosing T-Mobile's SideKick or the LG The V from Verizon. The V has all of the features I want except that Verizon's plans are very pricey for the number of minutes you get and they don't use simms cards. Is there any one on here that works for Verizon Wireless that can hook me up with a good price on a plan and the phone?

The V from Verizon

I'm also looking for a plan that best fits my needs. PM or post offers please.

1. I typically talk only 300-500 minutes a month but check my email very frequently during the day. Once ease of input improves with new phone, I probably will use the net more also.

2. I almost never travel outside of the South Jersey Philly Area.

3. I don't have a large circle of people I know who have cell phones that I frequently talk to.

4. I tend to make 4x's the number of calls I receive.

5. BTW I think Direct Connect is the devil! I have a company phone already that is only DC usable.

Alright, The V, Nice phone, I would recommend going into a VZW Dealer and playing with one, not very user friendly. Also the main reason I have a sidekick is it has REAL TIME AIM and Web Browser that now supports Java which the V does not have ethier of.

What do you know about? Do you know what new features it will have? Any idea on the targeted release date? One of the reasons I was looking at the V was because it has a mini SD port, BT, and built in MP3 player.

I'm so torn....I just hate no sims card and high priced plans....I'm hoping for a hookup or I might roll with the T-Mobile.

the *** parts about the lg the v ( i own it) are the memory card is only for mp3s so u have to buy ringtones, u can only get speakerphone by opening up the flip and the vid is only 30 seconds. other than that its a perfect phone because i wanted wone with a keyboard but the sidekick is like a brick and people have hte sidkick and hten go out ot buy a cellphone just to use the cellphone as a phone
