H22 idle problem

okay so a month ago my car started to surge when cold. when warmed up it would go away. Now it has gotten much worse. There are no leaks. The CEL just tripped and told me my IAC valve. I dont think that is it tho. I seem to be leaning towards the FITV or whatever it is. Reason being cause when i take my intake off, the bottom hole in the TB is pulling a crap load of vaccum. Even after its warm there is no change. Do u think its the thermo valve thats bad and not the IAC??? When i cover that hole the idle goes back to normal. THANKS

coolant was bled last week.... the problem is either the iac or thermo valve ... theres not suppose to be any vaccum pulling from that hole

i have the same problem you can try taking off your iac and spraying it with carberator cleaner and that should do the trick at least thats what i have heard.

Just clean out both, the IACV and the FITV. Improperly bleed coolant will also cause random idle surges as well.

take the iac valve off and there should be a white plastic disc that u can tightin. just tighten it up clean the screen and u should be fixed. very common problem
