My boyfriends shop is looking to hire someone immediately for paint and body work. I have this posted on craigslist for him, but figured I would post it here as well if anyone was interested.

You must have a few years (3+) of experience working in a professional shop, and must provide examples of some of the cars you have done. References and work history are a plus.

MUST have experience and be comfortable with:
frame adjustments/pulling/replacements
panel replacement/welding
dent, rust, spot panel repairs
blending, and complete overhaul painting, color changes
etc...

MUST have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
MUST be able to multi-task between cars (we currently have 5 cars that need immediate attention, and another 3-5 on the back burner for winter builds, with more jobs being scheduled each week)
MUST be willing to come in and WORK, no chit chat, no cell phones/texting
a non smoker would be preferred since smoking is not allowed in the shop.
absolutely NO drugs will be tolerated even if they are used on your own time. (steroids, weed, etc)

Pay is based per job... and we have plenty lined up.

Most of the tools you need will be supplied, as well as a sufficient workspace. All supplies, paints, etc will also be supplied.

damn i didnt know you guys painted down there. haha, i always thought the guys next door did it and thats it

wow... i went a year with no job, trying desperately to get back into the industry and now this pops up about 2 months after i went back to the shop i used to work at. haha. funny the way it is... [/dmb]

sounds like a good gig, someone should probably scoop this up pretty quickly. the only other paint/body guy on here besides me (that i know of) is evomike.. might want to PM him in case he didn't see this thread.
