Cecil 11/6

Well Wednesday's are done, and for the next three Saturday's there are events being held. Boostedfury and I planned on going down Friday with a couple other cars. Anyone else planning on being down there?

He just broke the clutch in on his Z06 last week, if he goes though he'll be in the Jetta transporting my slicks and tools.

I'm an almost definite for this Friday as of now, I'm dropping my car off with my friend later tonight to have the drive shaft loop welded back on after I snapped it at Cecil a couple months ago, and getting the bottle filled. My car is in my avatar, stop by and say hello I'm friendly lol.

LOL how could I forget?

I'm getting antsy to go, it cut 1.51 60's last year through the same 6 speed. I switched to a Spec Super Twin, and installed QA1's on all four corners and got a new tune for the nitrous. Hopefully I can cut a 1.3/1.4 and make up some more mph on the big end. It still isn't making good power though, I need to ditch the stock intake and the BS single nozzle kit and move to a plate set up.

Having trouble finding power all the way through? I'm going to try and get there Friday but will be tough.

The car was never tuned for the nitrous on the 10.80 pass it was tuned for motor then I just sprayed anyway, it felt like it was falling off up top. I trapped 118 before I did the nitrous, fuel system, and suspension. That was on street tires too with a 1.9 60'. After the fuel and suspension and nitrous the 60' fell to a 1.51 but I only picked up 10mph. It's only making 150whp on the 200 jets since the lines are only rated for a 150 shot. I still feel I should of picked up more mph then that on the juice. So hopefully with this new tune things will be a little better and I'll trap a little higher.

Precisely my friend. That's taken care of now.

Dante, get readyyyyy lol. Last time I snapped my drive shaft launching at 3,800 on motor. This time around I'll be spraying out of the hole at around 5,000. I'm feeling nervous haha.

Good luck Matt, I would have been there if we were not doing the Maple on Sat. I may still come down on Friday. 10.8s with a 1.9 60' @ 118 is really great numbers. What was 330 and 1/8 like?

You misread me Mike, the 10.80 pass was with a 1.5 60' and at 128mph. The 1/8th was a 7.0 at 98mph.

Two years ago on motor and Goodyear Eagles it went 12.10 with a 1.98 60' and at 118mph. The 1/8th on that pass was 8.0 at 91mph. I came out of the hole at about 2,000rpms and spun lol. But back then the suspension was 100% stock right down to the torque arm. I bent that into pieces a couple weeks after that pass on the street lol.

Well got the car on the lift today, both motor mounts look like they're ready to go. Soooo FML. I'm pretty disgruntled and right now saying **** it until Spring, I've had enough bad luck this season.
