Anyone recommend a tire?

My tires on my stock wheels are whooped, I have Potenza RE92's now and they suck for an all season tire, anyone have a recommendation on a good all season sport tire thats not too hard on the pockets.

dunlop makes some great all season tires, price depends on tire size, which i dont know.

My Hankook's were really nice and sticky and got me through the first snow storm of the year. My only recommendation is that your don't get Yokohama Parada's...you wont get any traction in the rain and they make you slide....My buddy crashed his car because of 'em.

I've had a good experience so far with my Toyo Proxes4. Huge improvement over the RE92's, but that doesn't say too much. When I've pushed the car hard on dry pavement they've been great, and when traveling to have 'fun' in the snow I've had no problems.

I like my BFGoodrich G-Sports. Cheap, and a great all season tire. HUGE improvement over the RE-92s you have now. I can go on and on about how bad those RE92s are.

Another reccommendation. When I replaced my tires, I went a size wider. Sometimes you can fit a little wider of a tire onto the stock rim without any rubbing issues. My stock size was a 205 width, and my car can swallow a 225 on the stock rims. The better tires/wider width make such a handling improvement.

I use Yokahama Prada Spec II's all year round, I love them and they grip nicely.

My buddy crashed his lowered teggy in the rain one night...he just lost traction out of nowhere....I dunno if it was just one tire or if it was something else...

if you're going to stick with all seasons, I highly recommend that you get a set of Continental ContiExtremeContacts. I have these on the gvr4 and they are superior to anything else I've driven for an all season tire. next up would be a set of BFG Traction TA (H or V).

I have both tires on various vehicles.

I second the notion for Hankooks. Have em on my Civic right now and have nothing but great things to say about them. The BF Goodrichs Traction T/As and Yokohama Avid TRZ would be other ones id recommend if you are going with a 17 inch tire.

i am le tired of making recommendations... +1 for the g-force sports, otherwise you might want to read matt/sincere's request for recommendation thread - i believe it's entitled 'its coming'

Been a few weeks since i originally started this thread, ended up going with a BF Goodrich G Force Sports, paid $112 installed per tire. Thought it was a decent deal so I did it and so far I am very happy with them.
