Emissions and Vacuum Leak Detection

Good Morning TST,

I am trying to develop a new repair kit for my work. Essentially, the kit will include PCV Elbows and fittings a long with some grommets and vacuum connectors. Nylon Vacuum tubing will be provided along with some miscelaneous clamps.

However I think the key to this kit will be identifying a useful tool to find and identify the source of any vacuum leaks. Besides a closed environment with a cigerrette or an open environment and some propane gas...

Has anyone come across a useful tool that was not too expensive in your mind to isolate the location of vacuum/emissions leaks?

Thanks,

Tim

You can try to grab a evap tester/smoke machine from a dealer that is closing down. I grabbed one for $160 and they are like 900 new
