Is it possible to remove watermarks from photos?
The watermark is transparent so you can see the image behind the letters and don't have to recreate (i think) what is behind. So is this possible? Can anybody do it? Anybody want to kill some time, make me happy, and laugh at pictures of me in pain in short shorts? Thanks. |

I'd attempt, but I'd be pissed if someone helped remove a watermark from one of my pictures so.... no. Lol, though I agree $40 may be a bit extravagant for a p&s picture

^Understandable. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for purchasing products and not stealing--but when prices are that outrageous, I'm not even slightly deterred by taking a few shots as if I'm also counterbalancing the unfairness of what others paid. (I know this is no way justifies it, I'm just annoyed that they think their prices are fair.) I run a website that has this as one of its many features but charge significantly less, and do more to protect my pictures.
Captain, I pm'd you, it's appreciated. |

Well if you really like it then 1) whats it matter if its a 'point and shoot image', and 2) its probably not a 'point and shoot image' at all, especially a track photo which usually requires more reach.
Any photographer that would try to edit out a watermark would be shooting themselves in the foot in the process... even if it was something I was able to do I definitely would not. I'd try contacting them to see if they'll work with you on price, possibly for a single print or a smaller download. The thing when they let you download a high quality file you could make 100 or 1000 copies of it, so they're trying to have something to show for it.
