Sunday Notary?

So I am working to repair my Wrangler and it's too cold for the bike (per the g/f lol). So my step father is selling me his spare Chevy pickup. I need to find a notary that's open today in the Huntingdon Valley, 19006 area. Everyone seems closed? If this is the case, can I just write up a bill of sale, have my step father sign the title and bill of sale, and take that to a notary on Monday? He lives in NJ (car is still registered in PA). Any help is appreciated.

I highly doubt it. Most notaries are in banks and such.

Take a shot and call a local Wal Mart. I think that i saw a sign in a Wal Mart a month or so ago about "now offering notary services".

If your desperate you could go to a car dealer in New Jersey, and nicely ask their notary to do you a favor.

if the title is a new jersey title yes, you can have him sign it and give you a bill of sale and register it on monday.

if it is a pa title he will need to sign it in the presence of a notary so you will have to wait until monday because in the state of PA you cannot sell a car on a sunday....that's why notaries aren't open today

if you want me to explain it more in depth pm me

Def do not sign the title without a notory present or you will be voiding it and waiting weeks for a new one to come in.
