Paranormal Activity - no spoilers

Tonight after a long night of walking in Princeton and visiting my friend that was just in a bike accident, Rista talked me into seeing a movie that I thought was going to be just another disappointment.

Well, I just saw Paranormal Activity and it was ****ing amazing. I am something of a fear fanatic and **** like exploring abandoned insane asylums in the middle of the night turns me on. I have been let down by every single modern horror movie since The Shining. Moreover, I seriously felt like the world forgot to make horror movies. It seemed like every god damn horror movie lately was another The Ring spinoff with an upside down crab walk girl doing stupid ****.

Paranormal Activity is about a young successful couple. The woman has been followed by a demon her whole life. The entire movie has a basic plot and its filmed as if it is a self documentary or collection of home movies keeping records of the haunting events taking place in the house. The acting was brilliantly amazing, and the fact that I have never seen the actors before just made it even more believable.

I cant say that I jumped during this movie, but the whole time I was GLUED to the screen with the hair on my body sticking strait up. I am seriously sad that it ended because I know that the next time I watch it that it wont have the same effect.

If you love horror movies then see this movie NOW!!!!!

Saw it tonight. I don't recommend being worth $10.50.

Trailer was misleading. I didn't know it was going to be a cheap rendition of Cloverfield, without the monster. If anything it was more funny with the jokes the Micah guy was saying.

Spoilers

You didn't see any figure the entire movie, just movements in the bedroom. The only cool part was where she got dragged out of the room haha. The movie was just predictable and cheap. This is why movies with a definitive character are a lot better to watch.

Well, the budget for this movie was $11,000, so for 11grand they did pretty good at letting the imagination do the work.

For that price, yes they did a good job. Kinda irrelevant to the fact that I could of seen the stuff I saw in the movie on the Bio channel.

Thought it was completely worth the $10.50 I spent.
I laughed throughout the movie... but it wasn't because it was stupid...it was because of statements that were made throughout it.. and the rest of the theatre was laughing...but it still made me creeped out and waiting for something

it definitely kept my attention.. and i honestly wouldn't mind going back to see it again
it was brilliantly made.

If the budget was that low, then the ticket price should be like $3 not $10 Can you emagine the profit margin this movie is going to make...
