I live in a pretty small town outside of philly right near the Delaware Border. Most of the people in my town are pretty close and pretty much everyone knows everyone. I have 5 cops that all live around me and I actually am friends with everyone of them. I also have multiple cops for cousins/Uncle's/relatives. So another words, a lot of people know me just because of who I know and my car. With that said, I am very careful with what I do in my car around my town, especially with my car!

Anyway, My cousin who currently works in my township as an officer, just told me that they actually have a list of all the people with modifications to thier car(whether it be exhaust, intake, body kit, rims, etc). This list shows all the people's name, where they live, and what they drive. It also states that anytime past 12:00 midnight they are allowed to stop and search for any reason possible. That being said I am out to about 2:00 am so I get stopped quite frequently. Last time I checked, no one street races even remotely close to my town!

Usually at night when I am comming home from work(Server at Applebees) and/or just out to my g/f's house...I tend to get stopped....a lot, about 1-2 times a week. I usually get pulled over for absolutely nothing and it is just to check to see that "I am ok". The cop usually asks me about 20 questions and doesn't really check my info, other than to see my liscence and give it a look over. I have a perfect record in my town and Have only gotten one ticket and that was recently in Philly(it was minor, no points were given).

All this being said my questions are:
1. Can they actually stop me for no reason?
2. Is a list like this actually allowed to be created?
3. Can I do anything about being pulled over all the time? (except to get a daily beater)

wow..... thats all I have to say... If the "list" is true that could be the most insane and illegal thing I have ever heard of.. that is harrassment.. as far as getting pulled over cops can make up anything they want to stop you thats legal such as your exhaust ..are your running HIDs...but if your family is all cops why dont they put the word out for you so you stop getting pulled over so much..theres nothing you can really do to stop getting pulled over because your car is modified.. your actaully lucky that you havent got any tickets so far..
