What a f'ing stressful week.....

All I have to say is that I had one stressful week ever. Everything started on Monday October 08, 2009 where the police approached my parents house asking for me. Apparently there were quite a few cars stolen at Montegomery County Community College where one car had the same exact Corbeau CR1 Racing Seats as I do in my Scion tC.

The detective basically went to my parents house and was questioned about the blue car seats in my "Ebay Ad." First off I do not have an Ebay Ad of my Corbeau Seats and even if I did I always use paypal to pay for the enlisting fees. The detective then asked if my parents know if I have a storage facility any where that I put my car parts at. My parents stated to the detective that I do modify my car but I currently do not live here anymore due to the fact that I'm now going to school in the city. The detective then states that he needs to call me as soon as possible as this involves the theft of cars that happened at Montegomery County Community College.

At the time I was not aware of any of this happening as I was in my math class at Community College of Philadelphia. As the class was almost over my parents literally blasted my phone one call after another until I picked up. I left class to answer the phone that police came to the house asking for me about my Blue seats up for sale. They want to know where the seats came from because a victim of car theft name Matt Walsch had the same exact pair as I did.

My parents gave me the number to the detective working on the case and I asked him what exactly is going on and I don't understand what my parents are trying to tell me. Detective states that well there were a few cases where some people had their cars stolen at the College in Montegomery County. We received some information that the seats you have could be stolen and belongs to the owner of a 1996 Honda Civic owner Matt Walsh. What got me curious was how they got a picture of me and my entire history of anything I have done wrong in the past. But they had my parents address and not my city address which then led me to the conclusion that it was someone from Tristatetuners.com that told him and so he told the police that my seats belong to him and that they were stolen. The detective told me on the phone that he would like to speak with me in person and so I told him I will be able to do it the next day.

So Tuesday October 08, 2009 at 10AM I make my way with my uncle (he wanted to tag along because he was worried) to Whitpain Police Department to meet the detective handling this case. As we sat down in the detective's office he then shows me all the pictures of the Corbeau Seats I have forsale and also a tracking list of all the forums I've posted with the username Racersky of the seats.

Scionlife 09-29-2009
T.A.F. 09-29-2009
Clubcivic 10-18-2008
B20vtec 10-15-2008
Honda-Tech 11-19-2008
Tristatetuners 01-15-2008 ****They did not find this one****(Post #24 Thread Celebrating my Birthday by myself -_-")

Tristatetuners 09-20-2009

The detective opened a folder with all the pictures of the seat and asked "Are these pictures the seats your selling?" He then asked me how long have I had the seats and I told him well over a year. His replied to my answer is that cannot be right because Matt's car was stolen in March of this year. He pulls out the tracking log of my username showing me the date of when I posted up and then said "Wait a minute is this right? *Points to the Honda-tech log* It says that you posted this 11-19-08. I replied you can view the site yourself if you like and I'll supply you my username and password.

The funny part about all this is Matt's Civic was Stolen sometime in March of 2009 which is this year. I spoken with Matt and asked him who told him about the seats for sale and he mentioned it was someone who frequently goes on TST. Now let me tell you this whoever you are. Do your ****ing research before you make assumptions!!!!!! You made my life this week a living hell....My parents literally said they disowned me because of you. Not only that my uncle thought I was guilty calling me every freaking hour to ask me to tell the truth when I really did. With all this aggravation you caused me I hope something happens to you because karma is a bitch.

wtf? this is messed up. as soon as the officer told me "well that cant be right" i would have said you're a f*cking douche bag for believing i am the theif with no evidence. omg you're selling a seat that was mass produced in a factory and sold to the general public worldwide? even if you bought the seat off the dude who stole it and resold it, you're still not doing anything wrong. this sh*t pisses me the f*ck off. glad you're off the hook, and for the hell of it i would go steal that f*ckers seats that ratted you out.

that's rediculous. I hate thieves as much as the next guy but research is the key thing. The only thing worse than not catching a thief is not catching a thief and incriminating the wrong guy

Even if you didn't steal them and you bought them without knowing the authorities have the right to take it away and return the property to its rightful owner and you would be out whatever you paid for the item

It sucks that even when I'm innocent from the false accusation my parents and uncle still have doubts about me now because of this incident. It seems like the trust scale has been tipped to a side.

Dude, the Detective has absolutely nothing to do with your family and their insecurities with you. That's his job... It's what hes payed to do. Your selling the same exact seats that were stolen, and live in the area. Give one valid reason why he shouldn't have questioned you about it? Its not as if he hauled you off to jail for the night and beat you until you told him what he wanted. Honestly, if he didn't question you about it, than he never would have made Detective. Its part of the process... They don't just rule out people because there's a chance they may be wrong... You could have just as easily bought a set, sold them, than stole another set to sell because you thought it was an easy buck. Not saying you stole anything at all, just saying what is.

what surprised me was when I was in his office and he showed me the pics of the seat that i posted and then he said we also logged all the sites you listed the seats and as he looked down at it he realize there was a listing from last year. It seemed like he overlooked that date.

The case closed after Matt checked the driver seat in my car at the Police station. The detective mentioned that there was a post from last year and your car was stolen in March of 2009 but he still checked the seat all anyway.

that's at least good, did the whitpain cops try to give you a tint ticket just to get you for something in the end?...because that wouldn't surprise me.
