BMW 8 series coupe in Morrisville

I keep seeing this BMW coupe in Morrisville PA at a shop by snipes. The cars got some front end damage and it looks like its waiting for repair. I didnt get to see the exact model so I'm not sure if its the 8 or 12 cyl model. I know these cars are rare as hell and It took me awhile to remember what its called.

Anyone see this thing? I'm sure it would be a good spot for a BMW enthusiast. I think the car looks sexy.. its dark green also.......

Your talking about the older style car with the pointed nose, its at a auto shop on the right of bridge street also on the right before heading to snipes?

I saw an 8 series the other day that looked like it just came off the showroom floor, the old guy driving was even wearing driving gloves, you could tell it was his pride and joy.

They're cool until you have to work on them. They were all coupes and body style of E31.

I shopped around for an 8 series before I got my Supra. The 840's have V8's; the 850's have the V12. As far as body work, what I heard from a friend who knows an owner, is that the body parts are not in inventory anywhere in the world; if you order new body parts they're "made to order" so the wait could be a year even to get a fender or hood...and the cost is astronomical. Other than that, I always liked those Bimmers a lot.
