222 years ago today, one of the single most important documents behind the very existence of the United States was first accepted/ drafted by our Congress....

Nah, hoping it isn't 'one of "those" threads'.. just pointing out the signifigance of the date for the many who have likely forgotten, or more importantly, those that never knew..I tried searching, and it was all BS/ Rhetoric nonsense.....

Don't start preaching that ****. I have a constitution app on my phone. I have the preamble, signings, and all amendments memorized.

I'm not 'preaching' anything..You are are one of the few that would know both the text and meaning of same..It was a simple post...a reminder of what we're all about( besides corporate greed and corruption)..:unamused:

A lot of dbags always like to distort the language of the constitution for their own gains. I hate them. They are mostly gun nuts and lawyers.

And they, Sir, are the very ones, it was designed to protect us against....where arbitration fails, artillery will always level said playing field...

You and I, being Military men, have a unique perspective on things...in the Army, as much as we bust on you guys, we have your back no matter where you are; however, this kind of battle needs to be fought low-key and at home...which requires much more intense, but subtle tactics that neither the Army nor the Corps. are used to...It is often a war of words, and emotions that wins out here, rather than brute force...but should Diplomacy fail, we are all that stands between common sense and Anarchy...Bullets change Government far surer than votes

As ready as I am to stand for our country, I hope I never have to be awakened....

Are you saying your going to go up against the U.S miltary if you don't get your way? And you say you will win?

I'm just got more in depth about the constitution in my business law class the other day. The constitution is the most important laws and most people don't realize it.

I don't want to be too presumptuous, but I think he means that if the government got a wild hair up their butt and asked us (military) to start handling citizens like Iran handles their, we wouldn't. I don't think anyone in the service would. I am an American first, a soldier second. I took an oath to support and defend the Constitution, not power hungry politicians.
