Cop Got Wrong Guy
I was traveling down the turnpike in the passing lane when a friend of mine who I was driving with comes up to pass me. Come around a corner and there is a cop ready to tag cars. Tags one of us and I get pulled over for doing 89 in a 65. Problem is, I wasn't doing 89, I suspect my friend next to me was doing that and he thought it was me because I was in the passing lane. What are my options at this point? I talked to my friend and he denies doing 89, even though he HAD to be going faster than that to be passing me. Side note, the radar he was using was mounted on the side of his car by a sticky pod and was facing backwards. This was in PA.
