Chris, your pictures are getting more awesome with each set!

Considering you were in Chi town, I was expecting pictures of huge cool buildings, but these were a pleasant surprise.

Thanks Jeff, Saddly i was only there for a few hours, arrived at 11am left a 4pm, I had to shoot 7 different areas within the building within that time frame so i didn't get to see much of the city. But being used to NYC, Chi town had an odd feeling to it, it seemed weird in comparison.

Looking good. Definitely print-worthy and those are some really cool spaces.

I feel that way every time I visit another city, NYC spoils us...

thanks everyone! the 17-40 is really a pretty kick ass lens for only about $700, and certainly wide enough on a FF sensor.
Balancing the light was difficult, the surrounding buildings blocked alot of the direct sunlight which helped considerably in these areas, other rooms the outside is way blown out, even with the sun shade lowered. i might end up mergeing exposures for those areas. Hopefully this will be debuting in an AV Trade Rag soon.

usually i really like sepia toned pictures but I just cant seem to like the first one. Maybe its the lighting? The pictures look great though.

Nice shots.
Really like the last one.

Only thing I might suggest is cloning out the exit sign on the third shot.
For some reason my eyes go right to it.
