My new Ninja Turtles lunch box

Bought it on eBay and it finally came in. Don't ask how much is cost, it was still in the origional plastic and made in 1990. But needless to say, I broke it open, washed it up, and now my lunch is in it and I'm off to work

Thurmos included!!!

I got sick of using the stupid extra plastic grocery bags, and didn't feel the urge to kill trees just to pack lunch and start eating slightly healthy, so I figured why not go all out and be funny. It was this or my g/f's brothers old soft boy scout lunch box, now that would be creepy.

Wow, nice find!

Not sure what's creepier: That you bought and use a lunch box meant for a 6 y/o (well a 6 y/o in 1990) or that your lunch looks like the lunch of a 6 y/o (chicken nuggets (?), orange, and a pudding snack--is there apple juice in the thermos?).

I'm surprised that you spent probably a good chunk of change on a still-in-the-plastic, vintage lunch box and then opened it!

Tyson chicken strips because I ran out of bread and was too lazy to hit the grocery store last night... and you can't beat vanilla pudding! And Gatoraid in the thermos lol

I agree. they sell insulated lunch totes for like $5. none the less it's cool, i was expecting the metal type of lunch box, not a plastic one.

i wonder if it's safe to use that thermos after all these years?

I don't collect stuff like this and maybe someday it would be worth money, but I'm military and for me to move stuff like this constantly, it would probally get broken anyway. Might as well use it.
