WRX side skirts on an RS

Do the stock WRX side skirts fit on the RS without drilling? Also, are they paintable? Thanks

hmmm thats a good question. I think they should fit fine on a 02-05RS since its the exact same body. as long as it has the holes then it should be fine

they fit without drilling, but some people say they tend to sag after awhile due to not drilling

Are we talking 2002+ WRX skirts on a 2002+ RS? Or on a 98-01 RS?
They will bolt(clip, actually)onto a 2002 and up RS without any mods.
I have never heard of someone putting them on a GC8 RS, but that's not to say it hasn't been done.

i would have gotten a gc8 but i couldn't find one with low enough miles and in good enough condition. I'm a fan of bugeyes anyway.

I have A 2004 RS and I put 2004 WRX side skrits on and they do fit with no drilling. But the only thing is yes they do sag in the back. So I'm going to drill A hole in the skirt because there is already A hole in the underside of the RS that looks like it would line up to stop it from saging.

I also painted mine just had to sand them down A bit and the primed them and painted the silver same as the car. I also put A couple of coats of clear coat over it to, so it would cut back on some of the chips from rock and other stuff. But I yook them off fro the winter just to be safe.

Don't the RS's come with skirts? Did you put STi skirts on there?

nah, the 02+ RS's don't have side skirts unfortunately. How much did it cost you to get those impreza_rs_04?

stock unpainteds, people like almost give them away for free...if you pay more than 45 for them your prob gettin ripped off

I got my stock Side skirts for free was in the right place at the right itme this guy I know was cleaning out his store and found A pair that he had taken from his wifes car so he gave them to me.

mike is the man, he's gonna give me his i just gotta pay him for shipping. i do need the clip thingys still though, but the skirts are gonna prob. wait until the spring, so its not that urgent. I'm still debating if i'm gonna try to paint them or not

Those clips cost about 2.00 for one and you don't need all I think 8 0r 10 to hold them in I just got 10 5 for each side. I just have to do something about the sag in the rear of them when there on. But it should be A easy fix

id say paint them. On the GC imprezas, the unpainted lip/skirts looks nice. But i dont know if i like it on the GD's. I saw a red one with an unpainted lip and skirts and that looked good. But silver and blue are a different story. thats just my .02cents tho.

I got they from the dealer just goto the parts abd ask for the clips to hold on the side skirts. They look like little push pins.
