The Radical Right-Wing Assault on America

For the sake of balance and equal time, I wanted to start up a thread for the true independants and liberals to list their grievances with the Right-Wing Radicals who are destroying our country with their distraction techniques and propaganda...

And since its so fresh in our hearts and minds, feel free to discuss the worst President in the 200+ year history of the United States, George W. Bush.

We knew it the whole time, it was only the people in Nebraska who actually believed that raising the terror alert level wasn't politically motivated....

Ex-DHS chief links politics to terror alerts

Bush White House politics linked to terror alerts

Im hard pressed to think that GWB was THE WORST president. That said I dont think he was great, Obama doesn't even have a decent approval rating.

They're just babies that cry when they're not in control.

Roosevelt didn't have a good approval rating going into WW2 either, yet he was the leader of the greatest generation. Approval ratings are as worthless as credit scores.

Yeah, just like the Dems are, don't act like it's limited to the right wingers.

The PEOPLE made that generation great, not the president. Please don't act like the president is a direct reflection of the people in any country. Most people in North Korea hate Kim Jong Il, same goes for Iran and many other countries.

Unless of course they favor your agenda because for a while there, liberals couldn't shut up about Obama's approval ratings.......then they started going down and now polls and ratings are worthless. You people kill me sometimes.....

I'm sorry man, its just that you are completely out of touch with the regular world and jaded.... not that you're a bad person, but you might as well be from a different planet as the rest of the normal working-class citizens... Plus, you get nearly everything of importance in your life taken care of for you by my tax dollars... so I'm just having a hard time swallowing anything you say.

Aww, you sore buddy? How are right-wingers destroying this country? By trying to keep it American, instead of a free-for-all pigsty with handouts and fried chicken for all.

By the way, anytime you listen to anything in the news remember that media is mass Democratically controlled, and I mean that in both respects. If democrats and bashing republicans or vise versa it doesn't matter, look at the facts, not what you see on TV.

First of all, we pay taxes too. Do you take this stance with policemen, politicians, FBI agents, teachers, bus drivers, firemen, the President, etc? Or only me because I pretty much blow everything you say out of the water with common sense and logic.

How am I not a normal, working class citizen? Do I not work? Do I not pay federal, state and local taxes? Or is my job beneath you since it's funded by tax money? What is taken care of by your tax dollars? I mean, I get a paycheck like everyone else who works and with that money I pay a mortgage, car payments, insurance, buy food, pay utilities, pay for health insurance for my wife and daughter, etc. Not for anything, but the same stance that you are trying to take with me, can be taken with almost anyone. I could tell Bill Gates that everything he has is paid for by people like me and my money that I spend on his products and it would be true, but it would also be a stupid thing to say, just like your comment to me was.

It seems I may have misjudged you in terms of being a worthy adversary when it comes to debates. You act like the typical left winger and just brush off my statements, because you know they're accurate, and move to using pseudo insults.......you know, not technically calling me names, but certainly making insinuations. I too do this on occasion though, however it's usually warranted. You do it because you have nothing else to say.

The constitution has evolved over the past 200 years. Yet, republican ideals have solidly stayed in one spot in time. I just can not even fathom those who say they are more American than someone who has different political views than the other. Those people are as loyal to their beliefs than they pander around as the people who say they believe in the bible and call themselves followers of that book.

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.

Great nations rise and fall. The people go from bondage to spiritual truth, to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependence, from dependence back again to bondage."

None of this sounds familiar or anything.

I would probably say that you should replace the word Republican with conservative. Both parties have moved so far from what they initially were intended to be it's insane.

That said, take religion itself out of the mix and look at the morals and general values of the right versus the left. Hell, what are the left's values, besides socialism, finger pointing and laying down guilt trips to make people come out of their wallets?

And who is calling someone "less of an American" for having a different viewpoint? I don't think you directed that at me personally, but if I recall, it was Nancy Pelosi who said that the town hall protesters were "un-American". Again, liberal hypocrisy.

Your last statement made no sense.

Obama's approval rating is at a low low low 40% (8) months into office! get the **** out already! can you imagine what's it's gonna be like when all you young, uneducated, glassy eyed liberal ****tards open your eyes and see the gigantic mistake you made electing him into office! the man wants to deconstruct the great democracy in the world. if you want to stand in line for bread rations go back to former Soviet Union and get out of my country!

If not open your eyes to the bull**** him and Nacy Pelosi want to push through. Giving healthcare and social security to ILLEGAL IMAGRANTS good ****ing idea! what's next?

the man is such a twofaced piece of **** that he wants to continue to ban cigerettes, yet smokes constantly when not in the public eye!

give it 4 years, you'll see!

this country and it's politicians are so far out of whack it makes me want to throw the **** up! this country needs an educated, selfmade, business man to run us back on course. not some liberal pussy who keeps spending and spending with no end in sight. Obama has already spent more in (8) months than any other president to date (combined, mind you).

I cannot believe the people of this country are going to allow this kind of bull**** to continue. In my 29 years of life never ever have I ever been so involved or cared so much about politics and the bull**** happening to eveyone in this country right now.

It makes me sick to think about how ****ed my life, your life, my parent's life, my brother's life, and my child's life (if I actually want to bring them into the ****up world we live in) could be, ****ed after just (4) years of this man's reign of terror over this country!

The people you indirectly associate with by calling yourself a conservative call democrats, liberals, independents, etc the same things. I am sorry, but it was a member of the republican party that still thought, during the national election, that Barrack Hussein Obama was an arab/terrorists. It is conservatives that still think he isn't an American citizen. It is conservatives that call certain clauses in the multiplicity of health care reform bills being offered at congress "evil". Democrats have their faults, too, but they aren't as flagrant and obvious as the ones the republicans show. I like your passion, but stop and think about what you are saying and they way you are saying it every once in a while.

I'm not laughing at your ideals. I am just laughing at your emotions getting the best of you. You actually think that the US government is its own entity. That in itself is hilarious. I mean, The Euro is worth more than a dollar, they have to be doing something right lol. Oh, and it's 3 more years and an odd amount of months. So, its closer to re-election that you previously thought. Then, again, you fail to realize facts and just want to put your blame on whoever is in office right now without considering the past mistakes and convoluted into this mess. Still, take a chill pill.

Not really because Bush was a huge liberal and he was also Republican, so go figure that one out.

Also, I am not a conservative, Libertarian suits me perfectly for the most part. I just don't like liberals, so I can see how I would appear to be from the right wing since I think pretty much everything the left wants for America is stupid. I also despise far right wingers who like to shove religion down other people's throats if that makes you feel any better.

Has he shown a birth certificate yet? And no, certificates of live birth aren't the same thing. Honestly I am sure he is an American and even if he wasn't who gives a crap, he is in the White House for four years, so now it's just time to deal with it. Sadly that is what we have been doing for the past 20 years when it comes to having a good leader, just dealing with what we have and picking the lesser of two evils. It's really a shame too, a guy like Ron Paul is exactly what we need in this country.

That is the problem though, at least for you anyway, I do think about what I am saying. Liberals are the ones who don't, they just rely on emotions and feelings for their choices. Nothing but a collection of knee jerk reactions to problems that can often be solved with a little hard work on each individual's part. Lefties are so enamored by the idea of the government providing the basics for them, that they fail to see that by doing so, you're only giving up more freedoms. And the best part is they don't even know what freedoms and liberties they are losing. How do I know this? Because every time some new regulation, tax or law passes and people like me complain, the liberals always say "what freedom did you lose?"!

If ignorance is bliss, liberals live in heaven.

You mean like people such as yourself who insist that a government run health care system WILL BE better for everyone?

And the hits just keep on coming.........
