before selling it to her, see if maybe the dealership will take that as a trade in from your name to a car that will be under hers, so you save money transfering titles and such forth. bypass that whole thing and just have her give you some cash on the side depending on how much you were going to sell to her for. try that so it is easier for you

I have been all over car sites looking at WRX pricing and there are alot of choices in your price range....but their mileage is really high. Also, price in what it would cost you to modify a car to your liking. I would guess it might run you about $2-3k to buy and have parts installed. So your trading in your current for something cheaper sounds reasonable....but you might be buying something that will give you headaches if the car does not run well.

Have you tried calling the company that holds your loan and asking if you can get a lowwer rate? I have heard of a few situations where loan rates were lowwered. It might be worth a shot.

Sell it and look into another VW with a vr6 swap. That or you can get a really clean GS-R.

VR4 swap? WTF.

IDK i mean i personally think this car was a bad idea from the start. You should buy a used SRT, there is one FS on here now for 8k (its a 2000 neon sxt full swapped SRT.) with 18k miles on it. DEFINITELY a faster car then the gli, and no car payments.

Lol my bad. I was thinking about a 3000gt.

And the SRT4 is a good ideal. There is a lot for sale on craiglist under 10k with mods.

The one on here has mod's too and its only 8500$ thats a sick deal. You can't touch a STOCK SRT WITH **** TON OF MILES FOR LESS THAN 10k!

that car only has 18k on the swap and like 100k on the body. Plus its cheaper on insurance since its titled as a SXT. Thats like win and win.

LOL.

Lemme get this straight:
You get rid of the Civic that you felt made you drive like an idiot, for the Dub because you wanted something "more mature that you wouldn't be tempted speed and drive like an idiot" in, and now you want something boosted and AWD to beat on? Just be aware that most cars that are like that, have been around a minute and have been owned by kids that bought them to beat on them. If you plan on beating on it, which is why I imagine that you're planning on looking for that type of platform, maybe you ought to just go back to your Honda. Scoobs aren't as forgiving, and there's alot more you're going to break if you plan on modding the car. Plus, your sweet Euro plate won't really fit too well with a Scoob.

keep the gli. its reliable and a good dd. Buying a wrx with high mileage is a risk and you will want to mod it which will end up putting you around sti pricing. So trade the gli for an sti or keep it

Let's be honest with ourselves. We're all addicts, our particular outlets just happen to be our whips. If you get something boosted, you will mod it.
