my parents are moving (to a house "without enough room for me") ive been frantically looking for a house to buy, since im able to, and i need somewhere to live. id rather buy than rent...

anyway, i found a house i want, and was working with tosco elite realtors in collegeville, pa (working with anthony tosco)

i had him put a bid in for 82k, he said they didnt take it. he told me he knew people in HUD (the house i was looking at was a hud house / gov owned)

after that, i wasnt able to get back in touch with him, only his secretary. i was in a rush to get this house, so i called everyday, and everytime i called, the secretary told me he wasnt available, but that he would call me right back. he never did. so a couple days after i was told they didnt take my bid for 82, i told them to put in a bid for 84. the next day, the secretary said they didnt take it. still couldnt get anthony tosco on the phone for some reason.

so this morning i called (its been about 2 weeks since i talked to anthony) and got the same run around. i called back again at noon, and was told someone put in a full asking price bid on the house and bought it. wtf?

so i called another realtor and asked about the house. she told me someone just bought the house for 86k. they were asking 116k for the house, and my last bid was 84 (if they even put my bid in). anothony tosco's secretary told me someone bought it for full price.

im thinking my realtor liked the house and decided to buy it for himself.
meanwhile, he completely ****ed me over, treated me like ****, lied, avoided me... WTF.

my parents are changing their locks out in less than 2 weeks and i have no where to go. i was planning on getting this house, and maybe having to get a motel room for a week or 2 while i fixed the house up to pass U&O inspection.

now im ****ed, not a clue what im gonna do.

am i being paranoid, or did i really just get ****ed by my real estate agent. i want to kill this guy

and ya, it sounds like u did get ****ed bro. that guys is a 1st degree ******. Idk much about the housing market but I wish you the best luck.

If you feel you were treated wrong or the realtor acted unfairly report him to the ethics board. If the house is sold there is nothing you can really do about it now. Keep looking and try and find a new place.

what did he do wrong, other than not being honest of course? should have sought out another realtor if you felt you were getting the run around.

umm, he took advantage of me. when bidding on a house, you rely and trust your realtor. he had the advantage of knowing people in HUD as well as knowing what my last bid was, AS WELL as controlling if my bid even makes it to the owners. for all i know, he didnt even put my bid in for 84. if you cant see the wrong in that than you must be blind. ever heard of business ethics?

I'm sure you're mad, but I think right now in this situation you first need to focus on a place for you to stay for the time being. I wouldn't waste your energy on anything else right now, just find a place that has a short lease to rent or a room you can rent from a friend or something.
Then look into who bought the house... if it was in fact your realtor or anything else happened through your realtor that wasn't in your best interest, then go ahead and pursue that and he will be in serious career trouble. Don't assume anything though and dont jump the gun... get the FACTS first.

But for now, just find a place to live, take care of yourself first and then worry about others.

ok i guess i am making a big assumption.

but i do already have some facts. after my $82k bid was turned down, he told me he knows people in hud and that he would talk to them for me, find out what their bottom line is, and if there has been any other bids. that was the last i heard from him. when i told them to put my next bid in for 84k, i had to do it with the secretary since he wouldnt get his bitch ass on the phone.

so he claimed to able to find out what their bottom line was, and if there were any other bids. meanwhile he wouldnt get on the phone with me for 2 weeks. then i find out from the secretary that 'someone' bought the house all of a sudden. his secretary tells me someone paid the full asking price. i find out that was a lie, and the house was bought for only 2k more than my last bid. the truth is, i was willing to bid to 90 for the ****ing house. it was advice from 3 different people to start from 80 and work my way up "because if they dont take 80, well put in another for 81, and if they dont take that, we can put one in for 82..." and so on.

the facts add up pretty well in favor of him being a scumbag.

Well it does sound like he wasn't acting in your best interest and that is his responsibility... I would try to find another realtor so you can keep the search going and you can also ask them what expectations are of a realtor and if this guy was in the wrong. They can hopefully help you find out more details about the purchase of this house.
But right now I'd really try to lock in on finding a place to live, or talking to your parents about getting a small extension with living there...

idk. ill probably end up living out of a bag for a while. spread it out between a few different friends houses. nothing i havent done before. also need to figure out what to do with all of my useless **** like car parts, furniture, extra clothes... ****ing bull****

yes still with her, her credit is horrible while mine is perfect. the plan was for me to buy the house, and she help pay bills... ill probly end up at her house a lot. her mother is insane though. and its just sounds trashy to be living at your gfs moms house. lol FML

What your realtor did was not right, he should have at least responded to your calls, and not just left you with no knowledge of what was going on.

I would see if you could find a place that does month by month rent so that you have somewhere to live until you find a house that you would be able to buy. Month to month rent would be best for someone who does not really want to rent but has no other option at the moment because you are only committed to the place for a month.

yea i have to start looking into these things... cheap places to crash and store my belongings ...i also have to get my mexy truck back on the road to move **** with... i hate when **** gets hectic
