door speaker question.

im hookin up new speakers. and im just splicein the wires temporarlay to see how it is. but my question is, there are the two wires from the stock harness, ones orange and ones black with a pink tracer. is there a difference in postitive and negative. or is there a differnce on the new speaker with the fat blue conector or the skinny red one? thanks ahead of time. btw its a 06 sentra spec v if that matters.
